Pepin weekend
The house was cute. The outdoor patio was really nice. The shower was clean. We loved some of the unique features/finishes of the home. What we didn’t love was the harness of the mattress and living room furniture, the expired toothpaste that was provided (2021), the dirty extra blankets, and the unwashed wine glasses that were put back on the shelf. The house was fine for what we needed, but we probably would not stay here again.

Spring break with son
My son and I traveled to Pepin to fish for a couple of days over Spring break. This property drew my attention because of it's cabin rusty look. It's a nice little property in a quite neighborhood. We did not find the garage useful. Be sure to remember your toiletries and any extra amenities you may want.

Cute little home to stay in. Was not able to park in the garage as it was full. Also tried to contact property manager via email, phone call and text message prior to our stay. Did not receive a reply until the morning after we checked out.

Great location
Property was a great location for our activities. Would suggest whoever does the cleaning of this rental pay better attention, especially the bathroom. Areas missed with toilet, cobwebs and spider webs in shower and window sill in bathroom. There were blankets folded inside the ottoman in livingroom that were dirty. Overall a good experience.

Relaxing time in Pepin
Quiet neighbourhood. Big covered deck with ceiling fan was awesome. Furniture was basic but comfortable. Second bedroom was small and dark- OK for kids perhaps not for adults. Loved the shower.

Cute place. Close to the lake. The cleaning crew needs to pay attention to details in the bathroom, and they need to fix the TV. The sound doesn’t match.

The cottage was clean & fairly spacious. with the exception of very dusty window blinds and some cobwebs in the corners ,it was comfortable. It would be nice to have screen doors off back and front doors. The dilapidated garage off covered deck is very unattractive to look at but it is quiet and and easy walking distance to waterfront & restaurants. Pepin is a lovely river has a lot going for it. Would stay here again.

No iron or ironing board. In town for a wedding and this sucked. Past renters or owners clothing left in dresser. No bathmats. The house has potential but fell way short of the quaint house the pictures portray.

Pepin, Wisconsin we will be back
What a wonderful stay in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. You are so close to everything that there is to offer in the Lake Pepin area. The house was just as described, very comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed our coffee every morning and supper on the deck. We came home refreshed and relaxed. We are planning more trips to the area. There is so much to see and do. Thank you for a great trip.

This is such a cute little house that my friend and I rented for the weekend. Everything was great, from the check-in to the amenities. Walkable to everything in Pepin. I will definitely rent here again next time I visit!

Comfortable to stay at night, but would not want to spend much time at the property during the day. In a area with not much to do without driving a ways. Several of the businesses within a mile were closed. Some of the items at the property are worn and could use repair or updating. The host was helpful as we had trouble getting the TV to work at night. Price point seems a little high for the area at this time of the year.

Comfortable quiet place
The place is clean and comfortable. Everything we expected. I called the property manager regarding a question I had and she answered right away. The neighborhood is quiet and so relaxing. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful area!
Clean, well kept little house. Very nice to have a washer and dryer. Had a little issue with the wifi, but owner got right on it and fixed the issue. Great area.

Fun girls weekend
We had a wonderful time in Pepin! We visited some shops, went to the winery, ate at local restaurants and got massages. The cabin was perfect to hang out and catch up. Wonderful area and community for a mama’s weekend away!!

We stayed in a nice cabin in pepin. It was okay on the outside. There was a very nice deck on the back. The inside was recently updated with newer appliances and shower. The beds were very comfortable. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. There was plenty to do in the nearby area.

Girls Getaway Weekend: Success!
This property was the perfect place for the weekend! It was cozy and clean! It was only just a few blocks to a great restaurant, The Pickle Factory. It smelt clean and was clean as soon as walking in the door! Easy check in process and check out process. The television and Roku worked and the WiFi worked. There was no issues! There were games also and we were able to enjoy them when we stayed in one night! The bathroom and kitchen were clean/newly renovated! Perfect size for the kitchen and bathroom for this house. There was plenty of parking, no issues! I recommend this property for a couples getaway, ladies getaway weekend, family getaway weekend or even a guys weekend! Definitely will come back someday!

Perfect bungalow!
Went to Pepin for a long weekend to enjoy the lake and river. Quiet neighborhood, good parking for the truck and boat, cute little place. Just enough space for four adults and two dogs. Walking distance to the Pickle Factory and other restaurants. Highly recommend.

Relaxation and water fun
When looking for a place to stay for a getaway weekend with our teenagers, we wanted to find something close to the water, that would allow a dog. We also wanted to follow the Safer at Home orders and we knew this place was small but had some finishes that we liked so we booked it vs a hotel or some other stay. Some ofThe best features of this place are the deck and table set — we played a lot of hands off rummy there! The beds were pretty comfortable, and We also enjoyed that the beach and the Pickle Factory Restaurant we’re only 6 blocks away. The restaurant made our dog comfortable too with a bowl of water and an umbrella. We also rented a pontoon from Alma Marina. They were really great to work with and we spent the entire day on the Mississippi and on Lake Pepin.

We enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. This is a small place without much space to eat indoors; it would have been hard for even a small family. Fortunately the weather was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor porch, with its spacious table, grill and fire pit. (Though the table and grill needed to be cleaned before we could use them.) The kitchen lacked some important basics--no bowls for salad, no colander or strainer, and only few pots/pans.

Perfect for a weekend away!
We loved it here! We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and even though it rained quite a bit it was so nice to still be able to hang out outside because of the large covered deck. The master bed was super comfy and everything was quite clean. One thing I want to mention is that the Wifi doesn't work and therefore the Roku doesn't either, but that didn't really bother us. And last but certainly not least, THANK YOU for allowing dogs! We take ours everywhere and it made the weekend that much better not having to find a boarding place for them.

Nice hangout near Lake Pepin
This bunker was what we needed - a two bedroom close to the shoreline. It’s a little rustic with concrete floors (with rugs) and sliding interior doors. We were pleasantly surprised to find a second portable A/C unit in the living room, so the indoor temperature was nice. The deck and fire pit were great, and perfect for hanging out in the afternoon and after dusk. There were nice “extras” - like new toothbrushes/paste if you forgot yours - and good pots/pans for cooking options (although bring your own cooking oil/spray). We communicated with the property manager prior and were told there was a bathtub (for our little one’s bath time routine) and even though we were told that there was a tub, there was only a (large) stall shower with no tub. I also wish there had been more bedding options - the queen bed had a massively thick comforter that was too hot even with the A/C, although this may have been nice in the winter. Overall it fit our needs and we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic, Peaceful Cottage
The property was exactly as it was advertised, located in a quiet neighborhood but a short walk from entertainment and dining options. The forecast for the time we would be there was exceptionally hot and humid, and when I revisited the ad before check-in, I was a little nervous about just the window unit in one of the bedrooms. When we arrived, there was an additional unit in the main space, and the cottage was very comfortable. There we a number of fans, and the shaded (covered) space on the deck was very enjoyable. Would absolutely stay there again.

Cozy Modern Farmhouse in a small town
This property was in amazing condition and extremely inviting and ready for its guests. They supplied everything you could possibly need for your stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the down town. Cozy property off the beaten path that is in great condition. Can’t say enough positive things about this place!

Great Place To Stay for a Weekend Getaway!
We rented this property for a girls weekend getaway, very nice cabin! The only things that we would suggest is maybe more seating in the livingroom, there were 5 of us and not enough seating for all. Also could have used mirrors in the bedrooms for getting ready in the mornings . Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay very centralized ! Would definitely stay here again! Thanks
