Cheap kitchen accessories; no wifi for 1 day; attempt at maintenance repairs are amateurish. This is a 2 star facility charging 4 star prices. The Barley Mill Pub next door is a good place to eat.

I have a habit of walking around barefoot, within an hour my feet were blacker than the ace of spades ( unit 8 ) when we turned on the airconditioner and it kept popping the breaker the gentle man moved us to ( unit 7 ) the wall under the window was dirty, I was a housekeeper at the lakeshore motel, the bel-air and the sunset inn in the 80's. If I would have left floors dirty or walls with black streaks on them I would have been fired. The fellow we met was decent,but his staff cleaning leaves a lot to be desired.

The room wasn’t the cleanest. It didn’t look vacuumed well. We found a dirty cup and knife. Couldn’t reach the desk for service. Every-time we called no one answered. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.

Less than ideal stay.
The room was spacious, but not very clean. There were cobwebs in the shower, the paint on the doors was peeling, the painter's tape around the front door and windows had not been taken down. The pool had no water in it. The AC was not working properly. No enough electrical outlets to plug IPADs into. Overall, wouldn't stay here again for the price.

We were in the middle of remodel to exterior of building. Pool is opens from June 20th onwards. Your AC was unplugged from the outside and was working once we plugged it back in. The setting is on auto so when it reaches temp it turns off. You can manually change setting if desired. We hope you can give us another try.

This Hotel is extremely run down and not clean inside at all. So much garbage out front as well. I cannot believe the price we payed to stayed for one night in such a low end Motel.

Hi Christina. It’s unfortunate you saw our property in this condition. We’re middle of a reno on the exterior hence why it looks messy as of now. Rest a sure we will be back to our clean standards shortly! As a business staying open during renovations was our game plan. What was not clean inside your unit? The pool location was good. The rooms are not the cleanest. The pool area is dirty and unkept. Broken chairs, loungers and umbrellas are everywhere. The office staff hides in the office and are hard to reach. The property in general is not maintained daily. There are broken flower boxes and rotting apples from the apple tree throughout the courtyard.

Housekeeping is on site daily. They asked if anything was needed during your stay. After hours the office can provide any towel exchanges and tp.

Not as advertised, very dirty & old & small & unsafe. Sad that it was non-refundable; forced to stay there once we arrived as we had no other option. Defined not up to our standards. Dishes & kitchenware were dirty, we didn’t use we used our own items ... Later found out it was in a very high crime area. Very difficult to stay with kids. The worst place we have ever stayed in ever. The only nice thing was the owners & staff were kind. Overpaid, later found out that same suites were going for $100 less per day than what we paid ($255). We paid $1000 more for entire stay, than we should have paid). This is a hard hit for a family with 4 kids. Discussed with staff why we paid more than what room were going for on site. They said they couldn’t do anything about it because we purchased through Expedia ... not happy with Expedia experience & would like a refund for the price difference ($1000). Didn’t notice it was non-refundable until after we paid ... so sad.

Great location walking distance to major grocery stores and restaurants. Skaha beach 3 minute drive. Room was clean, towels changed daily, picnic tables in common area under a beautiful big apple tree, 2 bbq’s that require good cleaning, nice swimming pool with chairs provided. I would stay their again.

Apple Tree was clean, affordable, friendly staff and easy to locate. The outdoor pool and sitting area with bbq's was clean and enjoyable. Would stay there again.

I don't know if it's Covid related but the place is looking a bit shabby and rundown. It was clean enough though and the place was quiet. We were a family of four, so we needed the 3 beds and the location is pretty good..close to Skaha Lake.

What a lovely stay we had here. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the picnic area and pool were exceptionally clean and enjoyable. Definitely a classic motel vibe, but a wonderful family friendly place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Full kitchen with one bedroom and a second bed. Perfect for a travelling family. Would definitely stay again. Super attentive friendly staff and clean.
