Friendly and helpful staff Clean and comfortable room Excellent location near the Chateau, restaurants and shops. Limited parking outside but excellent parking 3 minute walk away costing 3 euros per day and free on Sunday. 15 minute walk from the railway station and 5 minutes by taxi.

Lovely stay in a convenient location
Excellent location; we could walk everywhere. Our room was memorable with furniture that appeared to date from the 19th century. Very evocative of an earlier era but with all the expected modern conveniences.

This was our fourth stay at the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, great location and very comfortable. Good value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious, well equipped room. Excellent value for money and perfect location close to the chateau, restaurants and shopping. Parking for 3Euros per day within two minute walk. Highly recommend.

Accom was centrally located. I walked everywhere. Plenty of restaurants in close vicinity. Room was clean and spacious. Bed could do with a topper but was comfortable

Great location, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Public parking nearby costing only 3 euros for 24 hours. Pau station only 15 minutes walk.

Comfortable, clean and perfectly located. Friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money. Good optional breakfast for 11 Euros. Centrally located with plenty of places to eat all amenities and sights within a 10 minute walk. Good traditional French hotel. Highly recommend.

Disappointing accommodation
It seemed a surprise to the receptionist that we had booked a room. He eventually found the booking but then tried to get us to accept a queen size bed instead of two singles. He turned up to split up the bed, leaving us with a very large duvet swamping each bed. The room was tatty with a noisy antiquated wardrobe, some stained and flaky paintwork, mouldy shower sealant and bedside furniture that had seen better days and was also stained. The room was dull and dismal, in the basement along with the laundry room and not what we had expected from a 'superior' bedroom in a four star hotel.

Good location
A comfortable hotel with one of the quietest rooms I’ve ever had with good double windows and second door to the hallway. In my case I think I was upgraded because the room included a foldout couch so very spacious as was the bathroom. Great location for access to everywhere with an abundance of cafes and restaurants close at hand and just a short walk to the Promenade des Pyrénées and the main shopping streets.

Friendly and welcoming hotel
We stayed on a quiet Sunday night, so were able to park our car in one of the 5 free parks in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely big room with a comfortable bed. The breakfast had a good selection of food. The hotel is located within an easy walk to the centre of town. Would recommend .

Staff was great and super helpful; they held on to our bags after our check out for nearly the whole day which was nice. The bed was comfortable enough and the hotel is really centrally located so we were able to easily walk to everything. We ate at the restaurant right next door and it was delicious. Will definitely stay here again when we come back :)

Enjoyable and good value stay in Pau
We stayed one night at the hotel and found it to be comfortable and the staff very welcoming. We enjoyed using the pool table and also the breakfast in the morning. The location is very central with many parking spaces around the square. The furniture in the rooms is a bit dated, but I think that is part of its charm.

Our room was comfortable and the hotel is in impeccable condition. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Room had powerful air conditioner and there is an elevator in the hotel.

Great Hotel! Hard to beat! Awesome for Families!
This hotel is a solid 3+ Stars.. Very Clean and Upscale. The elevator was super quick. We stayed in the family room, Big Bed for my wife and I and 3 twins for our children.. lots of real estate for the price. We even had 2 TVs in the 2 different rooms.. a big plus. Sandra checked us in and was very friendly! Thank you Sandra!! Free Parking outside was a big plus, and my kids enjoyed the free WiFi!! This is a great place! I will definitely stay here again!!

The location is great, and the staff amenable. Unfortunately our room was awful. We were put in one of the rooms on the bottom floor and there was mould on the ceiling and a persistent smell of sewage combined with humidity. Unpleasant and we couldn't wait to leave the next morning. The bathroom itself was very nice, with a nice shower and everyone was friendly, unfortunately the smell and the mould killed any chance of us ever returning.

We had a large comfortable room in this hotel which is located directly in the middle of town. Although the description states that there is free parking, it consists of 5 spaces in the front of the hotel. That said, there is a huge cheap lot about 5 minutes walk from there. The problem with our stay was that the hotel's public areas are being renovated, which was generally inconvenient, but we understood. However, one afternoon we returned to the hotel to be told that we either couldn't use our room or had to wait at least 3 hours to leave if we did go in because they were pouring floor leveler that had to dry. We think they should at least have changed us to a room on a different floor. We felt bad for the poor front desk staff, who tried to be helpful, but honestly, it was not an acceptable situation. Also cleaning did not seem to include vacuuming the carpet.
