A great hotel in a great location. Located directly opposite Patong Beach and surrounded by loads of restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly. There is no lift so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues but if you're looking for something reasonably priced, clean, tidy and centrally located, then I would recommend Tiras Patong Beach.

The relation of price versus value can not be beaten and just meters from the Ocean.There is no food service at this Hotel, but you are surrounded by literally hundreds of Restaurants to choose from. If you are a chi chi lady you do not like the lighting for your make up, but who cares, you are on vacation

Good location but the entryway is not nice. You have to go through shops we’re people hartas you you every time you walk by so that you stop and buy things. It was difficult to communicate with the staff due to very limited English. They were nice people but some things were misunderstood and/or the information provided was wrong.

Patong beach
This hotel is in a great location, it’s clean, people are friendly, and it has A/C. The hotel is close to everything you could want, and a close taxi ride to local attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. They will arrange most travel needs you have or give suggestions on where to rent a bike or go eat. With so many unique areas around Patong Beach, don’t be afraid to get a bike for a couple days and go explore. You can park the bike in front of the hotel during the night. This hotel is well worth the visit.

Nice location, very clean. The staff friendly. Easy to go to beach. Highly recommended! But!!! Just bring your own toiletries because there are no toothbrush, they provide shower gel but unaromatic.

Great location! it’s only 2 minutes walk to the beach. Tucked in an alley flanked by shirt sellers on both sides, we weren’t too bothered by them like other guests in previous reviews. One of the lady sellers always greeted us courteously when we would leave and return to the hotel, in the end, I bought one singlet as appreciation for her being courteous and not pushy like the others. The hotel staff is courteous as always, and prompt with changing a new shower head for us as the one we got during check in was filled with black algae and slime from overuse. Aside from the aforementioned shower head, room cleanliness was great! As for the room’s view, we got the back of the building so we didn’t bother at all about it since we kept our curtains closed whenever we were on the room, but as other reviews have stated if u want a better view, opt for other rooms with an upgrade. Our room 202 was also right next to the stairs, so at times we will hear the noisier guests walking up and down the stairs with heavy feet. Super small matter since it’s beyond the hotel’s control, but thought I’d mention it for everyone’s reference :) Overall, we had a pleasant time at this establishment and had a good rest nightly! Thumbs up!

Cosy hostel with good service
A cosy hostel with good service. The room is nice and clean. No elevation with 4 levels. Close to the hot spots but still silent enough for us to have a good sleep. Breakfast is good. The staffs are helpful.

Tiras Patong Beach Hotel is good.
Tiras Patong Beach Hotel is a small friendly hotel in a good position near the beach and walking distance to Bangla Walking Street and large shopping mall. You can also walk to the night market to get food cooked in front of you. The staff at Tiras are friendly and very helpful. They provide a towel and beach mat in a bag when you go to the beach. They gave me a plate and utensils so i could cut and eat my papaya. The hotel is about 30 metres down a lane but opposite the beach. There were a few issues with the Wi Fi but they got sorted. I would highly recommend this hotel for price, comfort and position.

The hotel itself is good for a 2 star hotel. The services are good as well. Cleanliness lacks though. On the top it all looks good but it can be improved. I would say the challenge was the location itself. It is right across the beach which is good however whenever you want to get in or out of the hotel you need to pass through a market. Now let me tell you one thing, I am well aware of the drastic sellers around in patong area however you do get annoyed when it happens every time you pass through the entrance area. It really gets annoyed. There are around 10 shops on your way into the hotel where these shopkeepers all try to sell you something or the other and if at all you buy one thing from one, then the other will pester you every time you pass as you did not buy anything from them. This really gets annoying. I am not a big shopper and try to stay away from these areas however here it was a crazy experience where I had to face them everytime I pass through. I would advice the hotel management to act on this as this could annoy the guests which could further result into bad reputation. Overall the hotel is good to stay, basic ammenities plus good service though. Liked it but would not stay here again not because of the hotel but because of the location within the market.

Lovely hotel close to Beach and Bangla
Nestled between market stalls, restaurants and bars, this hotel has everything you need within a short walking distance. It was roughly 5 mins to the Patong Beach and 10 mins walk to Bangla Road. The room was clean with all necessary facilities for travellers (air-conditioning, fast wifi, free water) and serviced daily. The staff were very welcoming and attentive during our 3 night stay. Only downside is the lack of elevator but this was easy to look past for the prime location and price.

Stayed here for 2 nights.. Hotel looks very good, clean, comfortable and exactly same as shown in pictures...It is very near to Patong beach and Bangla street and also lot of options for food and shopping Staff were friendly and good in providing service Only drawback is, its 4 floor building and NO lift...We stayed at 4th Floor and felt little tired walking by stairs Overall I can say very nice hotel in affordable price.. I will suggest this hotel whoever like to spend vast time on beach.

The place is nice and very well located in the middle of Patong Beach . 3 levels and not elevator means no wheel chair accessibility and you carry your suitcase up the stairway. I registred a room for 2 and had a 3rd visitor and that cost me extra to the night guy. I sent 2.5 kg laundry to be washed at 50 bhat/kg and the night guy charged me 200 bhat when I picked it up. Is small change and not worth arguing over it, but shows a tendency to nickel and dime you, at least by the graveyard one arm man. The room is very nice, very clean and Memphome is courteous, helpful and super sweet. Free wifi, free coffee in the room. I might use it again.

Best decition during my entire trip in Thailand.
Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Room is clean. I really love hotel rooms without carpet. Cant imagine the germs manifesting in the carpet and accumulating all kinds of whatever over the years. Will certainly use it again.

MODERN HOTEL, BANG FOR BUCK, 1 MINUTE TO BEACH
When I first arrived I was a little taken aback, I was expecting for the front door to face the beach. That was not the case, this hotel is located in an alleyway of shops across the street from the beach. But I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and how modern the hotel room is. It is in the very center of Patong beach, so shops and restaurants are just a few steps away. Highly recommended!

Clean, quiet, and well cared for small hotel
Phuket is busy and touristy -- and TIRAS is located right in the heart of it all. The hotel is located 200 m off Thawewong Rd (beach road) with throngs of vendors and people, but surprisingly it is overwhelmingly quiet in the room! I wanted to be 'in the heart of everything' while also having a quiet night's sleep, and this hotel was a great fit. Property is small with limited rooms all well cared for, including two bottles of water provided each day plus in-room coffee station. All pros! One very, very minimal con that the lobby is small (2 chairs, 2 small couches) that does not encourage lingering and/or meeting other guests. Overall, very pleasant experience!

Enjoy the party and sleep
This location is a few blocks away from the nightlife of Patong Beach. Just far enough to escape the revelry but also partake fully! Safe and secure location. Private balcony was a big plus, but not sure if all the rooms have this amenity. Front desk staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean! Have fun!!

Great budget place @ Patong
Great hotel if you don't plan to stay in the hotel. What I meant by that is, you plan to use it only for the basics = shower and sleep. That is it. Don't put high expectations because it is a really super budget hotel with pretty nicely furnished and has most of what we need (eg. fridge, shower, tv). Hot water is inconsistent, comes and goes and constantly having to adjust. Walls are so thin you can practically hear when people starts shouting. The location, very near whatever you need to see in Patong. The place is not accessible by cars so you need to walk in from the main street. The entrance seems to be in the middle of the market which is awkwardly weird. Party, get drunk, back to the hotel, no issues. BUT, it can be very dangerous at night when the market closes, it becomes a very, very dark lane. Unless you have guys in the group, I would not recommend this place if you plan to party till late. There is also no elevator in this hotel but the staffs are very nice, they helped us with our bags. This would be a great option for a one-night stay just because you want to see Patong. Anything more would be mind boggling. All in all, for a room which costs less than 1400THB with modern furnishing and such, don't expect too much.

Staff was amazing. Location was great Price was awesome for the room. Highly recommend this hotel if your on a budget or even need a great place to stay. You do have to walk thru an alley full of shops that hound you everytime you walk thru but it makes it easy on your last day to get a great deal. Perfect location to be in the center of the action. AC worked amazing Internet connection was good Staff was awesome

Room smell of Drainage...Dirty....Dusty!!
We only stayed for one night and the receptionist staff when we check was very helpful.The room was smell of drainage and looks dirty and dusty. The breakfast wasnt really breakfast it was more like packlunch for kid for school.

TIRAS was a great hotel for us...perfect location as it's right across the street from Patong Beach, a few blocks from Bangla Rd, and many other points of interest. The staff was pleasant and the room was nice and clean. Definitely a great find for the price.

Staff and the room was ok. Room very small, worn furniture however clean. Bathroom was very good. I booked the hotel because of the location - on the beach. However the location was horrible, the place is in the middle stinky market, all the first floors occupied by the shops or cafes. Very old and dirty area, I would avoid in the future. There are other better & nicer streets.

We stayed at TIRAS for two nights over new years. Our room was on the fourth floor (there is no lift and the stairs are very steep). The water pump was broken for the first 24 hours of our trip so we had very little water in the taps and shower (and no hot water). The hotel staff were not friendly or helpful. Access to the hotel is down a lane which is a bit scary at night and full of people trying to sell things during the day. However, the room was clean and had airconditioning. Overall the hotel is overpriced and I would not stay there again.

Incredible hospitality by hotel staff. They recommended great places to see, helped book with tours and went out of their way to ensure I found my way around town as a solo traveller. The room was clean and comfortable. However, it can get noisy at night due to the night life nearby.

Personally I didn't like Patong Beach and found it to be the worst place I visited in Thailand. The hotel however was ace and in the unlikely event I were to be in the area again I would definitely stop here. Bonus points for the great Breakfast Box and delicious coffee.

Very large modern and clean room. Great shower and bathroom. Excellent big TV and fast free internet. Directly opposite Patong Beach. Good air conditioner. Free water and coffee. Perfect location. Walk to Bangla St in 3 minutes. Taxis at the door. Close to good food and shops in fact you will need to run the gauntlet of market vendors in the arcade outside hotel. Friendly staff with big smiles. Don't buy breakfast. It is a box with a sandwich and a juice. There are many cafes and food places within a few minutes. Overall Tiras was excellent value, located close to everything you could want in Patong. I would stay again nice small clean hotel.

Pros: - When you step outside of the hotel you can almost see the beach. Just a 30 second walk through the market. Cross a road and you are there. - Good shower. Nice and big. - Provided beach towels with a bag which were both clean. - Near the shops and restaurants. 30 second walk away from a small convenience store. - Close to the night life. -Pleasant staff. Cons: - Takes a while to receive your laundry back. Also the laundry was tagged on the material which we were not pleased about. - No lift but no big deal - Tried to phone us on the phone in our room which did not ring. Said they would look at it. However it still did not ring the following day.
