Our stay was great! Friendly staff, great service, clean and comfy! Not walkable to any area. But staff called us a cab when needed!

The room stank like mold from the air conditioner. They also admitted that they take pictures of your room when they come in to clean. I am still dealing with this as it’s a huge privacy violation. Beware that they take pictures of your things if you stay here

Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and airy air conditioned family room with a large balcony, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and nice pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful, which was much appreciated as this in my experience is not always a given in Italian hotels. Some complaints about location but its only a 20 minute walk into the centre and a regular bus 6 into town until 7ish and the pool makes it well worth it. Taxi back from the Centre was only 8 euros from thextaxi rank in the main Piazza. Nice comfortable hotel, reasonable rates. Cant go wrong. Highly recommended. Only suggestion is a drying rack on the balcony would be useful. Thanks for a lovely stay in the beautiful city of Parma.

The air conditioning didn’t work / wasn’t sufficient to cool the room at this hotel which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the third bed was a rollaway sofa so it wasn’t as comfortable as expected! That said, we booked quite late so potentially there wasn’t enough time for the hotel to change it to a proper bed.

Trains from the west coast we late so Best Western Plus allowed us a late check out since we arrived later then planned. That allowed us to use their gym and enjoy the hotel.

They don't understand the business.
This is a place that has everything to be perfect but fails on the important things. First, the building and the conditions are excellent. The the building and rooms look like new and everything is in perfect condition. Super clean and everything taking care of. The problem is that management does not seem to understand that the idea is to keep the clients happy. We have a couple of problems that are typical in Italy (if you are not from Italy be prepared because it is not uncommon). The main problem is the lack of AC. Even though the hotel states that they do have it, they do not turn it on. Basically, they only turn it on if you are close to the boiling point (in case you don't know, in Italy AC is considered evil). We had a couple of hot nights, and the staff claim that it was not hot enough to activate the AC. They told us to open the windows. The problem is, the trains pass in front of the hotel. So, you have to choose between being hot and the noise! As a result, we didn't sleep for three nights. That said, the staff is professional. It is just a cultural problem. However, these kind of problems should not appear in a 4 stars hotel that accept internationals. I have a couple of extra examples of the sort, but let's just leave it at that. Advice, if you are looking for a good place to relax and have the basics, do not come here. I definitively won't.

The staff at front desk are not polite, spoke to me in a rude tone, not prepare to welcome people, and definitely made my stay become a very bad experience. They treated me with no respect, they don’t speak any other language than italian, they told me, that being in Italy, Italian MUST be spoken, so it showed me they might be prepare only to receive locals and not interested in international travelers. In the other hand, the staff at the breakfast restaurant was polite, educated and helpful, the front desk staff needs to take MANY tips/ advices from them. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel and will never again stay in this hotel. I spend more than 100 usd for one night stay and for me it’s was not worth even one penny.

Over all good hotel
Beautiful hotel with many upgrades, good location and seems to be a business hotel, we have been traveling during off season. Only 1 issue with the hotel there was a painter doing touch ups and came in our room when we were put on a tour. He took my makeup bag off the stool in the bathroom and put it into the bidet so he could use the stool instead of using a ladder.

Hotel had excellent parking and was an easy 15 mjn walk to city centre meaning we never had to contend with Parma traffic.

Hotel is well located with free parking if you are driving and great breakfast for low price. The Staff was amazing, the initial room i was given was too warm due to heat wave going thru that week. I asked at the front desk if there was something they could do. They moved me a bigger and cooler room which made my stay just perfect. Thank you

We chose the hotel mostly because they have parking but were very pleasantly surprised to find how good the hotel is. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, particularly the bar/restaurant staff who were absolutely charming. The food was some of the best I had in Italy and the prices very modest. If you eat there I suggest asking the waiter for his recommendations- you will not be disappointed. Location is easily walkable to the center, through a fairly rundown area, but still acceptable. Our bedroom was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lobby is lovely and the ground floor restroom is the prettiest I have ever seen. I would recommend this family owned hotel.

Parma for family!
Arrived in Parma for a full day food tour. Very little time at Hotel. However the staff were very good. We arrived back late and decided to take advantage of our 10%discount provided by hotels.com (make sure you ask at the front desk for the voucher first) The Hotel Restaurant had exceptionally good food and service. The rooms were very comfortable clean and spacious. Wish we had had more time to explore Parma. Definitely stay there again!
