Not recommended. Dirty and poorly managed.
Dirty rooms with clear maintenance issues. Unfriendly staff and terrible management. We don't recommend for families, or anyone for that matter.

Absolute Delight!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: #1. EXCELLENT LOCATION - Train from CDG, ez Tram connection, hop off after a few stops, then steps away. #2. COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL STAFF - I travel extensively throughout Europe. IBIS Massena staff is at the top. I have found none better! #3. SANITATION & CLEANLINESS - I am one of the few who still wears a mask everywhere. This hotel meets my high standards for sanitation and cleanliness, and far exceeds what I have experienced in certain family-run Paris hotels over the past 10 years. In my last stay at one of these hotels the policy seems to be - if you complain they fix it, if you don't they won't. Some of these hotels (not all) are actually $50/night hotels but they get away with charging $100/night for location. At IBIS Massena I get a good location (2 metro stops and bus lines) and always a clean well maintained facility. #4. BEST VALUE - There are some nice and more than some, not so nice sole proprietor hotels in Paris with nightly rates equal to and higher than IBIS Massena, before the cost of breakfast. I have spent btw 25 & 30 nights at IBIS Massena in 2022 and will likely spend even more in 2023. #5. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT - NONE! I am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED with this hotel and the staff.

The receptionist didn't even say hello upon arrival. The room seems old and musty. The AC has tinfoil in it and is very noisy. The bothroom and ceiling below the AC show mold stains and the floor wasn't clean either.

Good value
Super-nice staff. Rooms are quite compact, but comfortable enough. Good stable wifi in room. Free coffee/tea in the lobby (but not in the room). Basic breakfast included in the room rate. No other dining on site, but you can buy drinks and snacks. The area is not the prettiest in Paris, but you are in walking distance of some really good restaurants and cafes. Good local bus connections.

I’m stay 2 night for family holiday but I don’t like it . The hotel got someone smoking at 6am in the morning I call resection but they cannot fine someone next to my room, smoking smells bad from 6am to 8am but they cannot do anything

The tv..had all french channels, where as you have english and spanish speakung visitors, also they served the same breakfast everday even saturday n sunday should be a little different...

Disappointed
Smaller than I expected, the bathroom needs a better finish, not seen an open floor in a hotel. The breakfast was very disappointing to say bu the list. The front desk staff were really friendly though. I left my plug in the room after check out and it cant be traced up to date even when I informed the hotel on the very day i left,

Stay was fine - friendly, helpful staff, clean room wthat was comfortable. Downside was bathroom extremely small, and TV did not initially work due to dead battery. Neighborhood is a bit beat down in that section of the 13th.

Hideous carpet. Indifferent Front Desk Staff.
Indifferent reception staff. Fortunately, her colleagues were nicer / courteous. Carpet had a hideous stain, that was the colour of dried blood. Informed receptionist - and showed photo: he suggested it “might be water”, and that he would take a look. No-one visited, to my knowledge. Best thing: delicious croissants.

Tea or coffee was always ready at the reception, the place was cool and quiet and just the right place for someone who like piece and a good rest. You cant say the room was spacious, the room chair was not very comfortable bottled water was supplied for only the first day, room table not all purpose but I do not blame anyone maybe this was commemorate with the charges. But generally I was happy and I would book the hotel next time.

The hotel was as expected and advertised. Bathrooms could do with updating but in general the hotel was nice. Breakfast and lobby area was nice with the continental breakfast going down well. The local area wasn't great but some nice bars and restaurants around 10minute walk away

The hotel is fine. A bit too far from the city but public transport is 5 mins walk. The breakfast was nice. The worst of it all was the staff. They were very rude and did the minimum necessary, didn’t even lift their look from the computer screen when I was talking to them...

+ Good breakfast, not very diverse but good quality. + Close to the subway station. + Close to a lot of asian restaurants. - Long commute to the city center - between 35 and 50 minutes. - The air condition doesn't provide fresh/cold air because during the Autumn the hotel changes the mode on the entire hotel to hot air. So the only way to get cold air or refresh the room is to open the window. Otherwise the room just gets too hot.

Decent place for the money
We stayed there for 5 days and we had no issues with the place. Breakfast could have been a little bit better but it was good overall. The room lacks private air-con control, which was a drawback for us. The air con was blowing hot air when it was already warm outside and we couldn't adjust the temp to our needs.

Pleasant hotel, not great location, no laundry
Pleasant small hotel but the area around the hotel isn't very nice, especially at night, and it is a 10+ minute walk in several directions to transit, farther for more useful lines and the closest line (M7, Porte d'Ivry) was severely delayed (the line splits into two directions prior to that station so only half the trains go there) so it was actually fasted and easiest go elsewhere, even the 15-20 minutes to the RER C for convenient connections. There are some good restaurants (Vietnamese next door was very good), and stores (which mostly close early) are also a 10 minute walk, and the closest laundromat as well. The hotel has no laundry services!

Dirty, uncomfortable hotel
Friendly staff, dirty hotel, stains on the bedroom carpet, mould in the shower grout, stairs not cleaned. Uncomfortable bed with a very thin mattress, shower with no power, very bland breakfast.

Compact, clean, good value in Bercy
Compact hotel in Bercy, not central but with good connections to tourist areas, convenient for concerts at Accor Hotels Arena (15-20min walk, 2 metro stops). Clean, small rooms, but efficient, very helpful English speaking staff. No frills, good value for money.
