For a budget hotel, we cant fault anything for our stay. Staff were friendly yet professional, Rooms clean and quiet. Very close to Gare d'lEst and Gare du Nord just 10mins walk away and metro entrance a few yards from the hotel. It was a good place to stay for easy access to all the Paris tourist places and if arriving from CDG airport or Eurostar. The area is a bit run down, we felt safe during the day, however at night we went to the Canal area for restaurants , but kept to the main roads late at night. Would stay here again.

Last minute trap
The person at the counter was not friendly at all. He could not accommodate my almost years old daughter. In order to sleep 2 adults with 2 kids. I had to get another room at the counter. After 2 days when i was leaving, i asked the person to check out both rooms then another drama started that, I have not paid the taxes for one of the rooms. I opened the door and left the hotel. I will never ever will go back to this franchise hotel.

We would therefore like to point out here that a double room intended for 2 adults is not actually made to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. In addition, tourist taxes are collected by the hotel in order to be paid to local authorities. The hotel is legally obliged to do so. Regards

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the hallway and the other rooms at night. Breakfast is very simple. The staff was nice and the rooms are clean.

Good but insects in the bathroom (clean though)
Ibis hotels are usually good, only for this time the room that I stayed, had red ants in the bathroom when we entered the room late in the evening-after the whole day trip in Paris. The bathroom was clean no doubt but somehow there were ants, I called the reception, she immediately sent the lady to clean and the lady put the insects spray in the bathroom which ofcourse created smell and when I requested her to put some air freshner to minimise the smell of insect spray, she said she cant help further as they dont have air freshner. Apart from this lady who came to clean the insects, rest of the hotel stay was good even rest of the staff was good. Its just bit disappointment from Ibis this time, and hopefully they will take care of it. Best -R

Frank the manager and the staff were very accommodating, nice, friendly and best of all speaks English. The hotel is steps away from Gare de L'est station which is very convenient as means of transportation to get around Paris. I highly recommend this hotel and tends to stay on our next visit to Paris.

Way better than I expected
I’m surprised how nice this hotel was. The staff was professional. The small room was comfortable to sleep. The breakfast was very tasty. There’s a metro station in front, nice restaurants as well and It is right across from Gare de l’lest.

Better than expected
It was surprisingly better than I expected. Breakfast was very good. Staff was OK. Room was OK for a ibis, with a real bathroom, not that plastic stuff. Good for a short stay. Location was what expected for a train station area.

The ibis Styles Paris Gare de l'Est TGV was in a great location for people who had not been to Paris before. So when we arrived at 23:35 to Gare Du Nord, it was handy that the walk to the hotel only took around 10 minutes. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was too a good standard. The room itself was clean and the free wi-fi was great in helping us plan our days. I would definitely recommend ibis Styles Paris Gare de l'Est TGV

Convenient basic hotel
We needed an overnight stay that was close to Gare de l-Est and this worked perfectly. We were able to walk from the station and had plenty of places to eat and convenient metro stations.

Try to find another hotel. Ibis Styles is very different from the Ibis brand. Not worth the money you will pay for.

Close to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est train stations. The elevator kept breaking which, normally, wouldn't bother me but my left foot is in a cast and we were on the 6th floor. Having to use the stairs was very inconvenient. Also, the rooms were tiny.

Great little hotel right out front of the Station
This little hotel is quite, clean, has a great staff, and serves a decent little continental breakfast to get your day going. It is perfect for those who are leaving or coming into Paris from the Gare de l'Est, as it is right out the front door. But, even though it is next to the station, our room was very quite. We requested the back side of the hotel and recommend that for a nice quiet night. The room is a typical small French room, but it is clean and very workable. The bathroom was modern and clean and the hotel had all of the amenities needed for our one night as we passed through Paris and back to our hometown by train.

Stylish interior, great for public transport
Rather sketchy exterior gives way to a friendly, comfortable and stylish interior breakfast room. It was great to have the 31 bus and the Metro right outside the front door.

It is very convenient to public transportation, Metro, Bus and Train. Great breakfast. Outside the hotel is messy because of a bus stop there. Will stay there for my next Paris trip

Convenient for Gare D'Est
Stayed here for an early train to Strasbourg from Gare D'Est. Check-in was quick, free wi-fi, room was comfortable and a decent breakfast in the morning. Perfect for the money really.

The entrance to the hotel was poor. The area in front of the hotel was dirty. Homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk near the hotel. Didn't feel safe in the area.

Decent hotel close the Gare de lest
There is no elevator from ground floor to the second floor reception. If you don't mind that, it's a decent hotel with simple breakfast.
