Paris hôtel NOIR

Posted 12-Mar-2015

Posted 05-Mar-2015
Pros: Tout sauf l'imprimante hors service

The Hotel Noir was great for a one night work stopover - a super comfortable bed, very clean modern and stylish room and friendly staff. The only thing that the room lacked was a shower curtain so don't leave anything in the bathroom that you would like to stay dry! The area is quiet, though close to Courcelles Metro so really convenient and a ten minute walk to the Arc De Triomphe and some nice bars and restaurants if you don't want to stray to far. Very reasonably priced. I slept well and would definitely stay here again

. Personnel très agréable. A l'écoute.

Good Choice for Bargain Hunters near Champs-Elysee

Posted 18-Nov-2014
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: Better room lighting. More electrical outlets to plug in computers etc.
Location: Good location. Very quiet. Charming non touristy neighbourhood. Nice shops, good restaurants. Walking distance to all major attractions.
I have visited Paris many times and have stayed in just about every central area. This hotel is very well situated for those that want to explore Paris on foot, which is how I like to do it. The area where it is located, near Blvd Des Courcelles, Place des Ternes is very charming, not at all touristy. Some beautiful shoe and clothing stores and good restaurants. The hotel is ~1 KM from the Arc De Triomph/Champs-Elysees which is where the Air France bus drops you. (The bus you want is "Etoile"). The hotel itself is an older building that has been recently updated with a small 1 person elevator. The room, as virtually all are in Paris, is small by USA standards and generally I would say basic. Mine had a small tub with portable shower nozzle, a double bed, no closet - just a rack with some hangers, small flatscreen TV, with only 1 English channel (although I am not certain why you would be staying in the room and watching TV in Paris). The room and hotel were very clean and the staff very friendly (everyone's English was better than my French which isn't too bad). The price was right (90 Euros) which is very inexpensive for a well placed Paris hotel. If you are looking for luxury, this will not be your spot. If you need a place to park your bags and visit the most beautiful city in the world, this will work.
