Good experience

Posted 07-Jun-2014
Pros: The staff, the proximity to restaurants, stores, park and metro.
Cons: It wound be nice to add on chairs and table in the garden.
Location: Nearby restaurants, park, metro, church, coffee shop ans pastry shops. With the metro easy access to main attractions.
Good experience overall. Staff welcoming and helpful at all time. I like the location of the hotel which is close to restaurants, grocery stores and a beautiful park. The room was small but enough to comfortably move around. Washroom is clean. Price for accomodation is fair.

Good location

The hotel staff was very nice. It is very well located. No elevator, but they proceed to give us a room on the first floor, the room and bathroom were ok, no air conditioning, but it wasn't need, the weather was cold, so the room was fresh.

Nice hotel, nice area, nice staff.

Posted 01-May-2014
Pros: The quiteness. The vicinity which was a nice neighbourhood with a lovely little park at the end of the road.
Cons: The room had seperate toilet and shower. There was no lift for elderly. The carpet was dirty. Overall very good value, pleasing choice of hotel.
Location: Plenty of cafes, parks, shops, restaurants, very near Montmatre and Gare St Lazare. Very French atmosphere. We had a lovely, peaceful, romantic time.
The room we stayed in was quite comfortable. It was at the back of the hotel and the window opened onto a quiet courtyard. The ony noise was the dawn chorus especially a blackbird. The bed was realy comfortable and clean. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We had a nice relaxing time here. There was also no noise from other guests.

Great hotel

Great hotel in a great part of Paris. Good food and wine nearby and easy walk to the metro. This is the second time I have stayed there and would return. The only issues as with most hotels in Paris are the walls are quite thin and could hear footsteps in rooms above.

Book this hotel. Its cute, accomodating staff, no gimmicks, worries, or games. Price is stellar, and its central to everything. Market next door for romantic spur of the momemt champagnes, chocolats, etc. Bakery right across the street smells great each morning. Near to a major metro hub, 3 min walk from a bustling avenue with shops, food, and around corner from Moulin Rouge. 2nd time staying herr. Wont stay anywhere else. Book a hotel and flight package thru expedia for even better deal!

Nice hotel, lovely area

We stayed in the triple room whilst in Paris on business. The hotel was in a great location, close to a metro and with lots of nice places to eat near by. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The only mirror was in the bathroom. Perhaps one in the main bedroom would have improved things.

basic hotel 5 minutes walk from metro blue line.

Posted 09-Apr-2014
A nice clean basic hotel. All the staff were nice, helpful and had some english. The metro blue line stop "Rome" is the nearest to this hotel. 5 stops from this station brings you to Charles De Gaulle-Etoile and the Arc de Triomphe.

Hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to the underground. Rooms are small and could have been cleaned up better. Didn't have a good sleep, you can hear your neighbors very well. And by mean you can hear I mean EVERYTHING. Don't recommend to stay with children.

Okay hotel when on a budget

Posted 21-Feb-2014
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean bedding, safe area, central, friendly staff.
Cons: Old decor, cracked tiles in the bathroom, worn door, thin walls, smell of mould, no tea-making facilities.
Location: Safe, quiet location close to the metro. Loads of cafeterias and bakeries nearby, a few supermarkets for quick snacks. Close to the Moulin Rouge.
Arriving at the hotel, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The man at the reception kept our luggage free of charge both at arrival and departure. There were no problems checking in, however the room looked nothing like the picture. It was clean but dated; the bathroom tiles were cracked, the shower was worn to the point of looking dirty (although it wasn't), the door to the bathroom was difficult to close, and generally there hadn't been paid attention to details. The walls were thin, and we woke up during the night to shouting and laughing from other rooms both next to us and above us, causing a lack of sleep. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, there were no problems with the heating nor getting hot water. The hotel was located in a safe area close to the metro, cafes and bakeries, and it was never a problem getting a good breakfast. All in all an okay hotel to stay at if on a budget (and not a light sleeper).
