We waited, with another couple, outside the hotel to get in. The sliding door was locked. It took a long time for someone to respond to the door bell. The room was very small which is not a particularly bad thing, just very small for 3. We did not stay there. We ended up moving to another hotel. I was unable to get a refund due to the time. Not that the neighborhood was particularly bad (I really have no idea) but it wasn’t where we thought we would be staying. traveler’s error.

Dear Laila,We are very sorry for the incident happened at your arrival. Our front desk is open 24 hours and somebody is there all the time. It could happen that the person can be absent for 1-5 min for personal needs or a guest can ask a service in the room. Maybe a guest had called the front desk personnel and asked for some service. Otherwise, our front desk personnel doesn't move from the place. We close the door for the safety reasons. We are sorry for your experience, our location very central next to Louvre Museum and Opera Garnier and very safe and good area. Hope you enjoyed Paris. Kind regards

Very old building, please be aware that the elevator NOT located on the Ground floor, you will need to take your suitcases about 30 steps up to the first floor, Not fun!!! The elevator is very OLD and small , feeling not safe... The air condition in the room was not functioned properly. The bathroom is updated and looks clean, but very!!!! small The location is great and stuff is friendly.

Dear Lea,Thank you for your feedback. We are happy you liked our location and our staff. Indeed, our elevator is located one floor up as in many old Parisian buildings. Our hotel is located in the old historical XVII-XVIII century building. The air condition is on the heating mode, so if you want to use it in a cooling mode, then it wouldn't work at the moment the weather is not warm. We have a central heating system during the winter and during the summer central cooling system as well. We are sorry indeed you can use in two mode cooling and warming at the same time. The location of this property is the highlight, walking distance to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower. The property itself was somewhat disappointing. Furniture in the room looked weathered, bathroom door would not stay closed, no extras in the room. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet.

Ariuna is the best at Hotel Opera Maintenon
The hotel staff was amazing, especially Ariuna. She went above and beyond in helping us navigate the city transport system. Upon checkout we could not get a taxi or Uber due to road closings and traffic congestion, but Ariuna calmly talked us through catching a bus. She made our stay magnificent.

Hotel Opera Maintenon was located in a perfect area for seeing everything in Paris - definitely the part that stands out for this property. The facilities were decently clean, a bit of an older hotel but did not affect the experience. Overall good stay!

The hotel is situated in a great area, and the service was very friendly and helpful. I do think the room could have been nicer for the amount paid. It needs a little updating. The breakfast is very good.

Great stay!
We loved our stay! The staff was super helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and stylish! Great location - easy walk to so many places. Room even had an air conditioner. Breakfast was not exactly worth the $ so we only did it for one day, but otherwise we just really loved our stay here!

Good price, great location, hotel pretty good
Hotel is nicely finished on the surface, but shows its age a bit. The people at the front desk were helpful. Gluten Free options mentioned on the website, but when we asked at the desk we were told no options available and not offered any guidance on places to eat (one celiac in our group). Bed very comfortable. Scratching in the walls every night was creepy to listen to, likely rats but not really sure what it was!

Not handicapped accessible
The room was terrific, but the elevator does not start at the ground floor. When I reserved I confirmed there was an elevator because I have mobility issues. I was not told you have to climb a big staircase to get to the elevator. We left our big bags at reception and just brought up what we needed for the night. Also the elevator is very small, only fits 1 medium person. Bigger people will need to stay on the first floor. The room itself was lovely and the location was convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming but there was no assistance available for luggage.

Great little hotel in perfect location
This is my fourth stay at this charming little hotel. Great location halfway between the Opera and the Louvre. Nice breakfast. . . . great staff!

Ok for the location
The best thing I can say is that the hotel is in a very convenient location. Our room needed some updating. No safe is provided and you must leave the key each time you leave. The staff was very friendly and kind. The hotel just did leave a great inpreon us.

Our staff is present 24hours in order to make everyguest's stay as comfortable as possible. We do have a safe at the front desk. We ask to leave the key for many reasons, first of all it's very heavy to carry second of all for the safety reason. As our front desk is open 24hours, there is no worries about loosing your key. Nice property - small boutique hotel. Had a nice breakfast for 10 euros. Included croissants, baguette, various spreads, OJ, tea/coffee. Small elevator that must be reached after taking the first floor of stairs. Overall nice experience

Great all around
The nicest staff and decent bathroom and bed. Located around a lot of really cool Asian restaurants and close to a metro stop and the louvre. I prefer to stay in Montmartre, but this is a great location if your trip is centered on the museums, etc.

Very Spacious Room
The hotel room was perfect with three separate twin beds and lots of room. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spotless and bathroom very large. Location couldn't be better- metro stations in walking distance as well as gardens and Louvre and D'Orsay and Opera House. Will return!

Excellent central location, which put it within walking distance of many points in Paris. Room was clean and tidy and air con worked without issue (it was 28°C+ during my visit so a real plus). As is typical with central Paris hotels the room was not overly large, but was more than suitable me for a single traveler. The shower was also good, which is a major requirement for me (although the shower head could do with a good descaling) Staff were friendly. Unable to speak for the breakfast or other services as I was on a business trip and spent little time in the hotel, and had to leave each morning before breakfast.

The room was clean and comfortable nice large bathroom location is on quiet street within walking distance to choice of many restaurants and the Louvre. Friendly and accommodating staff spoke English we arrived early and check in was no problem. I would recommend staying at this hotel

A wonderful stay!
My friends and I stayed in the triple room and were shocked by the spacious size of the room and bathroom. The room was very clean and had a great shower and bed. The hotel has an amazing location on a quiet street close to the main attractions and lots of restaurants. The hotel desk was also very helpful - especially with helping to coordinate our airport travel during the transportation strike. Overall, I would happily stay again and would recomend!

Good location!!
The location is very good. Near to Louver museum by walking. And there are so many Japanese restaurants. Especially Ramen restaurants. We are Japanese family and we didn’t go back to Japan for 3 years. So we were so happy to eat Ramen. Anyway the staff were also very kind to give us a lot of information. They kept our luggage after checking out . The luggage was placed in the room for special space where had a key. Unfortunately the water of the shower was not strong.

Amazing Place for the Price
This boutique hotel was nothing short of AMAZING!! The location was phenomenal and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. They went high and low to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was a little amall, but that is a minor point. It is comfortable and a great olace to relax and lay your head after a busy day of sightseeing. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this hotel. It is within walking distance of everything and you won't be disappointed.
