GrandResort offers 255 air-conditioned guestrooms, all with furnished balconies. Guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. “As expected, good overall hotel but the rooms are dated”
Booked the superior family room which was a good size. On arrival the room had the extra beds as requested for the two children - there was plenty of space in the room even so. I had read in previous reviews that the rooms were clean but dated with which I would agree. The rest of the hotel was totally upto scratch and had good facilities. I would recommend the tepanyaki japanese restaurant. The room internet access price was totally overboard and not reasonable at all. Kids club was basic but our 8 year old enjoyed it - the staff were very friendly.
“Excellent way to relax in the sun by the pool and beach”
A very welcoming hotel from the moment we arrived off the overnight flight from London. Everything was clean, well presented. Food was excellent. If you want a friendly hotel, sun, pool, sea, relax - you won't want for anything else at the Grand Resort.

“Not a true 5 star hotel but not a bad place”
Not sure who awards the stars in Cyprus but this is never a 5 star hotel - 4 star at the very most. Facilities are ok, it's clean and practical. Hotel resturants are closed on a Monday - Three good resturants just across the road from the hotel though. It's quite far from the main town centre and the old town. Staff are very friendly.

Clean hotel with excellent customer service but overall hotel needs updating and only has one pool. Very expensive poolside bar.

“Grand Resot stay May 2009”
This Hotel is not really what I expected from a 5* resort. The reception area is lovely and check in was straight forward. However we couldn't help but feel a little disappointed as we entered our hotel room. There certainly wasn't a wow factor. As 2 friends travelling together we had asked for twin beds however it was set up as a large double, when quizzed they said it was two beds together... with that we didn't bother trying to get it changed and found that it was two beds together and we coped fine. The room was extremely clean and the maid was very friendly. The TV only had 2 English channels but with the weather being so lovely you are not in the room that much. The breakfast was lovely with a very wide variety of food and drinks. The pool area is also very clean and the sun beds are very comfortable and they provide towels for your use around the pool. Overall I enjoyed my stay but I wasn't left feeling that I had staying in a luxury 5* hotel but a nice 4*
“Worst service ever...”
I will write just for the service in the japanese restaurant.It was Saint Valentines day and when i went there they told me that all their restaurants were fully booked.When i went downstairs they found me a place in the japanese.I went there and was more than half empty.I went at 9 ordered their set menu course and i finished at 1!!!Four hours they made to finish a simple set menu.They made one hour to bring wine i ordered and although they put the bottle away they never refill our glasses!Ordering the second bottle was a nightmare...after another hour they brought the wrong wine and again we were waiting for a refill but again i was forced to go and take the bottle in the other side of restaurant and pour on my own.I lost the reservation i had in another place at 11 since we ended there at 1!As for the room,it was a simple three star hotel room.For breakfast,it was just one person and they never asked as if we wanted tea or coffee.
“molto vecchio - da ristrutturare”
posizione gradevole ma molto vecchio. stanze e ambienti da ristrutturare. unica cosa buona la piscina e la spiaggia. poco soddisfacenti i servizi in generale. internet a pagamento ( carissimo) e solo per un device.... oggi tutti hanno pc + smartphone. colazione sufficente. non credo vi ritornerò
