Excellent in every way

Posted 08-Jun-2014
Pros: Everything we have travelled extensively and this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in
Cons: No bottles of water allocated daily
Stayed at the Elysium for one week in June 2014 absolutely superb in every way, upgraded to a Royal studio with private pool, allocated for exclusive use by Royal studio apartments, there is only 12, we pretty much had it to ourselves. Arrived late from the airport but the hotel had supplied two plates of food, bottle of wine and fruit, no charge. Staff are lovely everyone was polite and helpful. Requested a late check out and had the room extended till 8pm at no charge. All in all would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel

Posted 04-Jun-2014
Pros: The staff were universally so happy and helpful especially in the bar and reception areas.
Cons: Only fault was the aircon in the Gym needs to be cooler before one of us old guys keels over!
Location: There is a "boardwalk" along the coast which is a lovely walk but bikes can also be hired.
Loved our stay, nice beach with its own breakwater for great swimming in the sea. Lovely outdoor pool complex and a cooler indoor pool again great for swimming.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff

Posted 28-May-2014
Pros: Wonderful design with incredible attention to detail.
Cons: Literally nothing..
Location: Private beach located near the harbour and short walk into the centre of Paphos.
The Elysium is fantastic. The staff are friendly and very customer focused. We loved this hotel and will definitely return. The one and only time my wife has said to me " I can't find anything to complain about" say no more!

Already planning our return

Posted 09-May-2014
Pros: The best thing about the hotel: the staff! They are just amazing. A special mention must be Sofia, a waitress at the pool bar, who was charming!
Cons: The bar was lovely but very quiet but that may have just been the time of year. Also the prices of treatments at the spar were rather steep
Location: Quick trip from Paphos airport. Secluded and lovely. There are bars/restaurants/shops nearby but we didnt go much. Tomb of the Kings is next door
I stayed in this hotel 10 years ago when it opened and my wife and I booked it for a break in May 2014 on that basis. The hotel was great then and is now even better! Looking like a Tuscan villa, the hotel offers a wonderfully decadent and sophisticated vibe. A choice of restaurants including an amazing sushi place (O'Shin) and an incredible Italian, the hotel caters to a wide range of tastes. I wasn't hugely keen on the buffet but I rarely am to be honest but it was certain fine for 1 or 2 evenings. For lunch there is a choice of sandwiches by the pool bar or a more substantial meal at the trattoria, both of which were lovely. The pool is wonderful and not quite as cold as many would have you believe. We went in May and the weather was gorgeous, 24 degreed and clear blue skies everyday.

Fantastic hotel with great facilities.

Posted 29-Apr-2014
Pros: The luxury, comfort and exceptional service.
Cons: Ensuring parents take their children out of the indoor pool on time and respect the rules about the jacuzzi.
Location: The hotel is close to the tomb of the kings and there is a coastal path which means you can easily walk into Paphos harbour.
We stayed at the Elysium for two weeks. The hotel is clean, well decorated and has great facilities. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The food in the restaurants was of a good quality with lots of choice. The hotel grounds are beautiful and there are plenty places to sunbathe with comfortable sunloungers. We particularly enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool especially when during the hours when it was adult only. We would definitely return to the Elysium and have already recommended it to friends.

Family Easter break

Faultless. Staff were excellent, and I don't mean one or two staff were good, but all the staff we met during our two week stay were excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Would we go again? We are already booked for October!
