Boutique hotel pathos

Posted 18-Apr-2015
Fairly slick looking hotel but dies t cut it at the highest level for looks As furnishings are just not there .Sister hotel Anabelle definetley more class, style and beautiful grounds . Sorry at the money It charges , it needs to be better . Food in restaurants ie Notios exellent , but Brekfast buffet is all a bit manic and samey as many 3 and 4 star competitors.

We stayed for one week in April. The facilities, icluding lovely spa were very good overall. A particular point is the service and staff-always willing to go further to help.

Stunning hotel

Posted 05-Jan-2015
Wake up to the soothing noise of the waves... Wonderful breakfast, great spa, and for dinner, try "Theo's", a 10 min walk to the old harbor, for excellent seafood. 10/10.

Lovely Hotel in a beautiful setting

Posted 12-Dec-2014
We were very comfortable here, the staff are extremely welcoming and pleasant. This is a very elegant Hotel with plenty of space and a serene atmosphere. The location is fantastic, just above the beach. Shops, bus station and Harbour are all a short walk away.

excellent hotel in perfect location

Posted 30-Nov-2014
Pros: service, staff, location, facilities (spa, the lovely tavern at the shore), design and (food) quality, the real fire place in the lobby.
Cons: the lounge music was awful and on top of that much too loud.
Location: right at the sea, harbour, castle and archaelogocical sites nearby (10 minutes walk at the longest), also close to various good external restaurants
off season, therefore not too many tourists, service was excellent, especially during breakfast where most and more exclusive hotels lose, because the staff doesn't bring coffee or refill in time. in Almyra the staff was excellent, the service fast and always friendly. they tried to help with everything. the food was of excellent quality in all restaurants, one of our most agreeable experiences!

Beautiful Hotel Close to the Sea

Posted 21-Oct-2014
Pros: Excellent location, very clean, very helpful staff.
Cons: We had a wonderful time and were very happy with our experience. We didn't watch much television but the one time we did the image froze.
Location: The hotel has amazing views from the garden. We lay on our sunbeds and watched the many boats on the sea. It's within close proximity of the centre.
We had a wonderful week at the Almyra on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was lovely and very well cared for. Towels were replaced three times a day. The breakfast was fantastic and we were very well looked after by the breakfast team. We sampled the snack menu by the pool and it was very tasty, delivered promptly to our sunbeds. The hotel is situated round the bay from the castle and in easy walking distance from the port. Hairdryer, all toiletries, robes and slippers were provided. There are many lovely restaurants close by and we enjoyed eating out every evening.

Faded Glories

Posted 20-Oct-2014
Pros: The glorious entrance hall.
Cons: Sound profing and monitoring of adult clients and family clients.
Location: Walk with the beer belied, tattooed English.
A great entrance, huge foyer, helpful staff. Unfortunately this is not a 5* hotel maybe 3½*.It has large rooms but nothing special. It has inter-connecting doors which are not properly sound proofed so that we could enjoy the crying baby next door. Maybe for a family with small children this is a 5* experience but for adults only we would suggest stay away.

Excellent and very relaxing place to stay

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Pros: The room was comfortable and spacious, with a double shower and very modern. The infinity pool by the spa is very relaxing.
Cons: The only problem was securing a sunbed in the morning, but if you got up early enough you could definitely secure one for the day.
Location: The hotel is a 3-5 minute walk from the main restaurants and bars on the harbour in Paphos. I visited the mosaics, which were interesting.
This hotel is perfect for relaxation and luxury. I decided to go for it with this hotel and it was definitely worth the extra money than a standard hotel. The breakfasts were incredible, you could have anything from freshly cooked crepes and waffles to a full english breakfast, fruits and yoghurts, or cold meats and cheeses. I would definitely recommend this hotel and i can't wait to return!

Rooms were newly renovated and clean. Beautiful view. Beach was too rocky to go in. Took great pictures of sunset. Good breakfast. They got to control the large cat population.

High price, unsatisfactory room view

Posted 07-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
because of high season the front desk gave us the worst room in the hotel. Maybe they thought us to be fool enough to accept without claiming. Disappointing behavior from the management.
