"The most magical experience ever! Mr Nino, Antonio and Maryangela were so welcoming, made us feel at home and were happy to answer all the questions we had. Despite the language barrier, Mr Nino offered to take us to the ‘the most beautiful sunset in the world’ on the first night and drove us to a magnificent scenic point. "The location is gorgeous and it made our stay worthwhile. Said that the two bedroom unit was poorly kept (thick scale on all taps, broken shower cabin...), no breakfast, WiFi available only in the reception building. NO room service. Only wire transfer, check or cash was accepted for payment. The pictures on Expedia did not match what I saw. Positives: free shuttle rides back and forth the "hotel" and the village center."

"We spent 2 nights in Hotel Arcangelo in Salina. The staff at the hotel especially Giuseppe could not have been more helpful including allowing us to access one of our rooms after checkout for a couple of hours while we waited for our ferry. The restaurant at the hotel is also excellent - well worth trying if you stay there."
