Good location, hot breakfast, clean room.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Another plus is it had hot water which is not always the case. The only light was in the entry therefore the room was too dark to read. A lamp next to the bed would have fixed this. It didn't ruin our stay. Perfect location and it was quiet.

Hard to connect to the WiFi. The hall phone sounds very loud since early in the morning. The location is excellent, very centric.

noting was unique. Every thing was ok until I got into the room, I went to use the bathroom and when I tried to take toilet paper, there was non, I was lucky I had a couple of napkins in my pocket, I went to the reception to ask for some and they sent a big roll, I could not put it in the dispenser and they did not do it, it was around the bathroom for the seven days, they did not provide with a single cup, plastic or glass, the room is very dark at night, if you are at bed and need to read any thing, you can not because they do not have night table lamp. This is getting too long and there are more things to say. The trip was great, the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back was perfect, only the room and the restaurant are not to the standard.

A nice clean old hotel.
Hotrl Parador is a nice older hotel. It is convenient to Dubway and bus routes. There are many different restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel has a decent restaurant but I ate most of my meals outside. The room was a 3rd floor with a small balcony. The doors had gaps at top and bottom but they were secure. Their entire staff was very friendly and helpful. My Spanish was pretty poor but we were able to arrange whatever I needed. Local tours, airport transportation, places to go. I will return to Parador for my next visit.

Was a big event in Panama City on the time I arrive so when I got to the hotel and try to check in .... I find out that they sold my room because they make more money! They try to send me to a not even one star hotel that I refuse to go there!!! I never recommend this hotel!!!!

I guess they did a good job with the photos posted online because when I arrived, I felt I was in a different place. And not exactly in a good way. When checking in, I was given 2 room keys and told to go look at them myself so I could pick which one I preferred. I felt strange that hotel staff didn't come with me. When I booked (because of the photos and price) I thought I had reserved a room with a bathtub and a mini fridge. Turns out, I didn't (that was my mistake). But when I asked if I could change rooms and pay any difference so I could be in one that did have those things, They tell me they don't have rooms with bathtubs and the only one that has one is having work done so its out of service. They did have rooms with a mini fridge but they couldn't change rooms for me until the next day (I would be out all day for the next 2 days). I decided to stay and make it work somehow. I go up to my New room and open the door to see there was a Phone book lying on the floor as soon as I opened the door. Randomly. I had to go back down to the receptivo to get the air conditioning and TV remotes, I felt they could have given them to me when checking in. I left some cigarrettes in my night stand drawer the night I arrived, I counted them. Left in the morning and came back a night to find less than what I left. Yes, they're only cigarrettes but I felt uncomfortable with what that represents. I no longer felt my things were secure in the room. Overall. Not a great experience.

Very basic clean hotel with an affordable restaurant in the lobby.
Hospitality was excellent and rooms were always clean. Rooftop pool was nice with a small seating area. No wifi in the rooms, had to go to the restaurant or lobby.

Nice hotel in a really good location, at El Cangrejo, close to restaurants, supermarkets, metro entry, banks, ... . The staff was very attentive. The hotel can be enhanced, specifically their room furniture. The pool at the roof is a very good plus to relax after a hard day, you can even swim at night with a spectacular view of the Panama skyline

Hot-sheet motel vibe.
El Cangrejo has many options at this price point, and I won´t book here again. The rooms were generally clean but not well maintained - stains on the walls, moldy smells. No fridge in the room as advertised. Not really designed for traveler´s comfort. Hot-sheet motel vibe.

Well located, terrible staff
The hotel is old and requires improvements. It is located in a convenient area with plenty of restaurants and easy access to the metro. Staff at front desk is just terrible, they need to understand who the customer is. Literally, I had to vage several times for getting towels, since nobody was able to deliver then since staff was in coffe breaks. Hotel rates aré cheaper but not worthy for the lack of respect customers are threated. There are several options in that area so do not stay at this hotel.

Good location and best price! Everything was OK. Comfortable room and quite clean. Its location is perfect because it has access to the metro and bus stop. It also has taxi service for city tours. In conclusion, the stay was pleasant!!

It has been the worst experience. When we arrived we realized that the hotel was nothing like what it looked like in the pictures since we saw the facade of the hotel. The receptionist asked us to see the room before registering. When we arrived at the room it was a small room with three single beds, old and broken furniture, broken and dirty walls, so we went back to the reception to ask what happened since we had paid for a family suite for 6 people and that room did not look like the pictures on the website, they treated us badly and they even told us that if we did not like it they would return the money and let us go, in the end we would not go to find another hotel because we were going for a short time. So they will move us to the supposed suite in the afternoon, after they vacated it. We left the hotel and when we returned we had moved to an equally ugly room with 1 double bed and two twin bets. There was a strong smell of burned plastic and smoke was coming in through the window. When we looked out the window we saw that the hotel sign was burning. The bathroom doors did not close. The entire hotel is old and ugly. The restaurant was a small room that smelled horrible and the breakfast was horrible too. Rotten fruits, toast tasted like stale, eggs and orange juice. I DO NOT recommend this hotel not even to my worst enemy.
