La Quinta should renovate this locale, Last Year

Posted 06-May-2015
Pros: Close to Turnpike
Cons: New bedding
Your TV commercials do not apply to this location. Mattress was worn out, years ago. Management needs to spend the night, ask for room 216.

Location ideal

Posted 27-Apr-2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Spruce up furnishings
Location: Jupiter Lighthouse and Loggerhead Sanctuary in Juno See above for other details
Hotel is in a great location. Just across the bridge from Haborside area, along the intecoastal and walking distance to great restaurant called The Food Shack. Fresh Foods is in the shopping center across the parking lot and has great food and snacks. The pool area has no umbrellas or trees for shade. The hotel is a bit run down. The elevator is slow, the sheets have pills from overuse, and the breakfast is standard fare (no fresh fruit or sugarless syrup for pancakes).

Nice location

Air conditioning was way too strong. Tried to warm the room up but heat setting did not work. Staff brought us extra blankets, which helped a little. Ordering through Expedia was not optimal. I was not able to modify cost - for either AAA discount or discomfort of room (cold). For the three-digit cost the room should have been better.

Left after first night. Not what we expected

Would not recommend this hotel. Room was too small. Bathroom stall was too small Aldo. No dresser drawers. Just shelves under TV

Unexpected night time visitor

Posted 31-Mar-2015
Pros: Internet search
Cons: Security cameras in parking lot would be nice.
Location: Good Italian restaurant next store
I like La Quinta, seems to be some issues with the processes at this property. While asleep around midnight, an intoxicated guest was able to open our room door with their electronic pass key. Luckily the security latch was engaged and the door only opened about six inches. I immediately reported this to the front desk and the demeanor of the front desk person was that this was not a serious problem. I got up early and went to front desk and reported this issue again. La Quinta called me at home after my stay, and discounted my stay 30%, not a very good discount for scaring the heck out my wife and myself. I reported this problem to La Quinta corporate and awaiting a response.

LOTS of Cardinal fans stayed there. Was fun to mingle and visit with fans from home. All very friendly. Even opposing teams.
