Nice quiet place to relax.

Smooth checkin and checkout. Very nice facilities and a nice little pool. In a very good area of town so peaceful and close enough to walk to several restaraunts. Great breakfast!

Would not recommend this hotel. Room was too small. Bathroom stall was too small Aldo. No dresser drawers. Just shelves under TV

Unexpected night time visitor

I like La Quinta, seems to be some issues with the processes at this property. While asleep around midnight, an intoxicated guest was able to open our room door with their electronic pass key. Luckily the security latch was engaged and the door only opened about six inches. I immediately reported this to the front desk and the demeanor of the front desk person was that this was not a serious problem. I got up early and went to front desk and reported this issue again. La Quinta called me at home after my stay, and discounted my stay 30%, not a very good discount for scaring the heck out my wife and myself. I reported this problem to La Quinta corporate and awaiting a response.

Close to ballpark

LOTS of Cardinal fans stayed there. Was fun to mingle and visit with fans from home. All very friendly. Even opposing teams.

Smelled funny

The exterior of the property, lobby, breakfast area, pool area were clean and well maintained. The room itself had a funky smell regardless if the fan or ac were on. The carpet between the bed and bathroom wall was damp, my flip flops stuck to the carpet and there were food remnants down the from of the desk area. Not sure if a clean filter would have helped the smell but it's a suggestion. The location was great, staff was helpful, just overhaul the actual rooms and it would be better.

The interior / hallways carpet was worn and overall appearance could use an update There were unsupervised children eating breakfast (less than 8 years old) and they spilled coffee all over the counters.
