The room was clean and spacious, close to everything, and when I arrived, Dev took my very heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs to my room. I would stay here again for sure.

Lovely hotel, very clean and really comfy bed. Called the phone number when we arrived as it states to, due to there being no check in desk and the phone was answered straight away. There are 2 parking spaces on he front of the hotel which we were able to park in and check in was prompt and straight forward. Room was very clean and tidy and bed was very comfortable.

Homely place with a genuine warm welcome
This is a small family run B&B close to the stations, shopping area and the beach. The owners are welcoming and will do all they can to make your stay a comfortable one. Nothing is too much effort. Room 1, the only room on the ground floor is cosy, has a king size bed and shower en-suite. Facing the back of the building it does not have a view but it’s quite. Perfect if you have mobility issues. Room 4 has a double four poster bed, shower en-suite and side view of the sea. Facing the road it can be a bit noisy. Beds are very comfortable with medium/firm support. There is a small fridge in the living room that can be used by guest.

Excellent first stay in Paignton.
Spotlessly clean, very smart room. Very friendly welcome from owner. He really couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent. Wide choice of cooked or cereal/ fruit and yoghurt. Location is perfect.

Nice B&B, close to the beach. The hosts were wonderful and checked everyday to see if we needed anything. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and the zoo is in within half an hour walking distance.

Two nights in Paignton
No kerb appeal and parking wasn’t exactly easy. Options were provided, to be fair and it was close to the sea front so maybe that’s why parking is at a premium. Check in was a little rushed but the host was being very helpful. Foyer could do with a little “zhuzhing up”. Our room was fine, clean, comfortable with a very good bathroom and great shower. Facilities were decent with plenty of refreshments a fridge and TV. It was too warm to use the sauna, (didn’t really see the need for it but some might like it). Doors to the bedroom were oddly plain and didn’t give the right impression. I didn’t experience breakfast so cannot comment. On the whole there are no real negatives and it was an ok stay. The place is close to the town centre and sea front and I couldn’t fault the enthusiasm of the staff who greeted me even if things seemed rushed.

Short break
Stayed in double room. A little small, particularly the bathroom but adequate for our needs. Very clean, toiletries, tea/coffee & bottled water included & topped up daily. Breakfast very good & service excellent. Downsides: Surcharges are what brought our rating down & being told we paid more in advance than we would have paid even as a same day walk-in enquirer, which was £90 per night. If you want towels changing every day they charge, same with bedding. Parking was not included & was additional £5 per day. As we booked this short stay using the tescos clubcard partner deals, we still ended up just a bit better off than the 90 per night direct but would have been unimpressed had i actually paid the full price quoted on this site. Overall, lovely hosts, pleasant stay, good location & good breakfast.

Dev and his wife are excellent hosts. The accommodation is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Situated right by the sea front with shops, restaurants all within easy walking distance. I will definitely be recommending this B&B to friends and family.

One of many B&Bs that have a similar look . Cleanliness is everything in the current climate and P&M Residence doesn't disappoint in this respect . Greeted with a " covid masked" smile and shown up to our room (7) which was at he top of a few short flights of stairs on the second floor. Room was spotless , en-suite Bathroom was large and spotless . Bed was comfortable. Towels and sheets provided ( some places are not offering these basics) .Breakfast was cooked to order and plenty of choice . Very tasty sausages .... Breakfast rota in order to limit number of guests at one sitting . Parking on site is down to luck but we were provided with nearby free parking for our two day stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again.

P&M Paignton August 2020
Lovely little B&B. Excellent attentive hosts, nothing too much trouble. We stayed in room 4 (4 poster bed) and could just see the sea from here. the P&M is very clean and serves a good breakfast with a choice of cereals, fruit, toast, full English as well as bacon/sausage butties. Handy for the main town shops and only a 5 minute gentle stroll to Paignton rail station and the Steam railway. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Paignton.

Stayed here for four nights with my sister. A great B & B conveniently located for the beach. The train and bus stations are just a few minutes walk away as is the town centre. The rooms are clean and bright with comfy beds and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is excellent with agood number of options. Dev and Binita are very friendly hosts and provide an ideal atmosphere for a happy holiday.

Lovely B&B, very attentive host.
The whole place was clean and well cared for with some nice art work.Room was very clean and spacious.100% non smoking. King size bed lots of wardrobe and drawer space. Tea and coffee making facility. Plenty of tea, coffee & hot chocolate as-well as two bottles of water, biscuits and mint chocolate- all replenished next day. Leather sofa and clever coffee table that rolled out to double size. Music centre, DVD player and flat screen tv. Lots of local information and guides provided. Lovely large bathroom with large towels and a range of toiletries. Nice double size shower and - in this room - a sauna. No view from this room but the facilities made up for it. Dev kindly offered us this room as an upgrade as the room we had booked was on the third floor and he had noted my husbands mobility issue when we parked up earlier so offered us this room on the first floor. From the moment we arrived, arrived early and Dev said ok to leave car and come back later, Dev could not do enough to help. He insisted on carrying our luggage in then he spotted a solitary fly in the room and spent 5 minutes chasing it out. each time we saw him he was there offering help. Breakfast is pre ordered the night before and this seems to work well. A good full English and again Dev ever attentive making sure you have everything you need. We have stayed in the area many times before but have only just found is gem and will look no further in future. We will be back.

The property is ideally located just one street back from the sea front promenade. Easy walking distance to the train station and all amenities. I found the room I stayed in to be spotlessly clean and comfortable as was the rest of hotel. I had to leave before breakfast was served but the owner got up early to set out a continental for me which was very good. The only issue was lack of parking he only has 2 spaces in front of the property but it's ok to park on the road after 6.30 until 8am

Loved how clean and modern the property was. Hosts were lovely and breakfast really good too. Right near the pier with many pubs/food on your door step. Would definately stay again although was disappointed in the parking situaion. I understand spaces are limited but i had to pay an extra £15.00 for our stay to park which was 10 minutes walk away. This isnt too much of a problem but was not stated upon booking and should be the case for all guests and not just a few. In my eyes it should be first come first served. There were guests that arrived after us and were given a space upon check-in. Very unfair, if a handful of guests are given a free space then its only fair that ALL guests get the same!!

Great B&B couldn't ask for a better place - Debbie and John are very nice plus helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Hotel spotless and Breakfast lovely with plenty of choice in a good location less than a minute to reach the sea.

Excellent B&B
Stayed for one as working in area. Debbie & John very welcoming and helpful. Room 8 very clean and spacious enough, wifi excellent. Breakfast excellent and lots of choice, all cooked fresh. Very short walk to seafront, vue cinema, town centre etc. Will stay again if in the area.

A Room With A Sauna
This B&B is an amazing find. Debbie and John are so friendly and welcoming. The whole hotel is immaculate and it's obvious they strive for perfection and class. The room is very spacious and has everything you need - lots of extras and comforts. The bathroom is large and my room has it's own sauna! Something I've never seen anywhere else. Even without the sauna this is an amazing place... the sauna is great though! Breakfast is great too! No complaints at all.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the hosts are so lovely! I booked only the night before due to work commitments and had messaged asking if I could leave my luggage for a day before and after my stay - not only was an early check in possible but they also anticipated my arrival! The place was immaculately clean and comfortable. I loved the little touches like the fresh fruit salad at breakfast and the unwinding washing line in the bathroom since it's so close to the beach! I'd absolutely love to stay again, thank you both!
