I arrived at this so called hotel to find it closed and all doors locked... My partner booked it earlier on that day and took full payment....How can this be allowed to happen HOTELS . COM....SHOCKING...I await your actions!!!!
the hotel is well situated to catch the ferry and is quiet.
the lack of private parking is a concern : you can park in a public area just accross the road .Prices are good.the rooms are comfortable and spacious.the stall is friendly.
the restaurant attached to the hotel serves reasonably priced good meals.
You get what you pay for, spoilt for us as while we were in our van in the car park opposite, 2 youths of ethnic origin attempted to climb into the van via the rear door. Very scary but luckily no harm done
We only stay as a stopover but bed is clean and comfortable and have own bathroom etc. Good value for the price. Food in the restaurant is excellent and we are always welcomed.
Before arriving we informed the hotel that we would be arriving outside the regular check-in times (around 10pm) and requested a late check-in which worked really well.
The hotel is very convenient for the ferry port being less than 5 minutes from passport control with free public parking available opposite. The room itself was basic but clean with a comfortable bed.
We would definitely re-book if we’re in need of a night’s stay after getting off the ferry.
the hotel is in a convenient place for the ferry.the staff is friendly.the room was comfortable and quiet, which is important to me.I had everything
I needed.the bathroom was well designed And having a separate toilet was a good extra facility.I was warm in my room
The meal in the restaurant was delicious and very good value for money;the waiter was very pleasant.

Needs a revamp and WiFi not good
We have stayed here several times in the past ,the night before getting early ferry to UK, the hotel is now looking run down and the WiFi was useless, will definitely look at other hotels nearby

We cannot submit a review as we missed our ferry and had to stay in Le Havre. However the owner of this hotel did kindly ring us around our due arrival time to ask where we were!
We thought we hadcontacted him butthe message did not get through
Good location for morning ferry is the reason we booked ,but I’ll not use again as requires a full refurb of the room, reception area foody smell, thin dividing walls, and could hear conversations, toilet , showering in next rooms.
Good side was WiFi , decent linen and reasonable cost of room.
Late evening arrival & very early departure so this hotel was an excellent choice for nearby Port. Staff very friendly. Room with ensuite facilities clean & tidy. Bed was comfortable. Can't comment on food as didn't have any but good selection of drinks at bar.
The room was large and clean and out dogs were also welcomed. The hotel is in an excellent location for the ferry with car parking very close and an excellent restaurant below. The manager and staff were very welcoming and in our case were very apologetic and offered refund because of a problem with the hot water. It is not the fault of the hotel in any way but because of its location it is surrounded by gangs of illegal migrants who chase the lorries as they enter the port. There is a high police presence and the gangs don't annoy or target travellers but they do congregate around the hotel and we were disturbed by the noise they made during the night. Don't be put off by them - in balance this is still a good hotel to stay at and was good value.

Nobody on reception when we arrived mid afternoon but a notice directed me to the bar next door. Never saw anyone else after that. Hotel basic but clean and very convenient for an early morning ferry.
Very pleased with our stay. Spotless/ comfortable/ friendy staff/ fantastic location 2 mins from ferry check in . Would recommend this hotel 100 percent. Will definately use it again. Best in this area. Pricewise excellent

Clean and friendly hotel but not for us
The room was very clean but small, no wardrobe. The room was not sound proof as we could hear the neighbours quite clearly. The shower was great, lovely hot water. We stayed 1 night before getting the boat. It was just not for us as we prefer a little more comfort.

This hotel is clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but I've had better in French hotels. I was there as a foot passenger, and they were happy to store my luggage prior to booking in for the ferry. It's probably best to consider this as a budget hotel. Ouistreham has a problem with illegal migrants. I didn't see them being aggressive but if you don't want to be exposed to them don't stay close to the port.
OK for an early morning sailing but there is little to commend this hotel. It looks inviting from the outside, bright lights, busy restaurant and good location but this masks the reality Staff are unfriendly, dismissive because booking done on line and happy to give you a small room on the third floor. And faving the yard.

This hotel was flexible about changes in bookings and the staff were responsive to a late arrival time. We were greeted in a friendly manner both on arrival in the evening and for breakfast. The room was bright and clean, the bed comfortable, and the view was great. The bathroom was a bit retro but fine for an overnight stopover before or after the ferry crossing. Will definitely use again.
Staff friendly and efficient on the reception desk. Room was good - comfortable bed and clean. Fairly basic but good for us as we only have overnight stay as it is so convenient for the ferry port.

Run down and tired hotel
... front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming
Stayed overnight before catching early ferry. Room clean, but very small and with only most basic of facilities. Shower head spat water sideways, and the hose was so short that I had to stoop down to wash my hair. No air conditioning, and the window opened on to a flat roof - so slept with window shut. Thin walls and noisy neighbours disrupted sleep. Not very impressed..
After a day shopping and walking in the area we needed a bed for the night before catching the morning ferry. We had already booked an evening meal elsewhere so it was literally a bed for the night .The hotel reception was not open but a note directed us to the next door bar and the cheerful barman let us in answered our questions about evening exit and entry and early morning leaving. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We needed nothing more.

Good situation for ferry travel
This hotel is ok but the shower in our room wasn't working properly and the bathroom got a bit flooded. Apart from that it was quite good.

Overall the stay was Ok for a night, room was clean but no aircon so as it was hit,had to open window ,which meant it was noisy.
Wi fi good when it worked.
Had a good deal, but not sure I would have paid more for the room
The family room was ok for one night, although very hot with no fan/air con so window had to be opened. On a main road with heavy traffic most of the night which stopped our children (and therefore us!) sleeping. Advert says free parking but we had to pay and when I pointed this out at reception they said there was nothing they could do.

Does the job
A pretty basic room, but just what we wanted: somewhere close to the ferry, restaurants and parking so that we could get away really on the morning ferry.
