Fab Hotel
What a lovely hotel! Really easy to find in lovely Osnabrück on the border of the Innenstadt next to the old University Building. Hotel gave us a car park and an alterative to use. Plenty of room in the car park, which was very secure and 15€ for 24 hours. Wish I'd remembered the girls name on Reception because she was an absolute gem and a credit to the hotel! (Long blond hair and very fluent english on shift at 5.30pm on Saturday the 19th.... really.... find out who it was and give her a bonus!) We arrived but missed the Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) covid rule of a negative test on top of vaccination proof for hotels, restaurants etc This stellar lady hunted around for a test at the hotel and, when she discovered there were no left, she found us a local test centre where we could go. She printed out our results for us on return so that we could go for a meal and then gave a verbal description of the restaurants nearby for us to choose from. What could have been a real hassle she turned into a good experience! The room was clean and comfortable and just what we needed. If there was a qibble it was lack of tea/coffee in the room, but I guess that's just a Covid thing and will eventually disappear. The other staff we encountered were efficient and friendly too, by the way. Would love to return to Osnabrück soon for a bit longer and with hopefully better weather and when do, theres no doubt we'll be booking here again!

Favourite spot
Vienna House is a conveniently-situated hotel close to the amenities and pretty centre of Osnabruk. The hotel is one of our favourite 'stops' as we pass through Germany.

Top service, clean, frrah and modern room. Quit. Nice bar / reception area. Parking garage right under the hotel. Short walk to the market place with old beautiful architecture and bierstubes. All over satisfied with our stay.

Lovely classic VW themed hotel
Room was clean, well kept. Good supply of soap, shampoo, towels, toilet paper. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Plumbing fixtures (shower, sink, toilet) were high quality. Obvious attention to detail and conservation.

Good hotel; excellent location near city centre
We have stayed at the Arcona Living in Osnabruck before and have always enjoyed the experience; the staff are very helpful and mostly speak good English too ! The residents' lounge and restaurant are 50s / 60s themed so great if like music from this era. We use the adjacent car park which is convenient although the car entrance was difficult to find on the first visit; it is also very expensive per night even with the hotel's special discounted rate; but OK for a short stay.

Conveniently located, modern hotel
Stayed three nights in February. Check-in was quick and painless as reception staff spoke good English. I requested a room at the back, not facing the main road, and was given a corner room which is quite nice, clean and tidy. My only complain is that the floor hasn't been cleaned (luckily I brought my slippers with me as it is plainly dirty!). Hotel has a bar and restaurant and, I believe, a sauna and a gym, too. Had a few drinks at the bar but did not use the restaurant as it seems to be busy that weekend. It's not a problem as there are lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk from hotel. I would recommend this hotel as it is close to most facilities though it could get noisier in the summer months.

Good hotel, be careful with room choice
We've stayed at this hotel a few times now, as it's a great location and reasonably priced rooms. Walking distance of city centre and plenty of shopping and eating options as well as excellent travel links. Hotel has a nice bar, restaurant is ok but costs too much. Downside would be we paid extra for a comfort room rather than just a standard room, and there was either no difference to the standard rooms we've stayed in before or in fact this "comfort" room was actually smaller and less comfortable that some standard ones stayed in before. The main difference between standard and comfort is the shower, toilet and sink are in one bathroom for a comfort, whereas a standard has sink within main room (but not in the way) and toilet and shower separated by a wall rather than together. (In many ways the standard way is better for this) So just be aware of the differences in case you splash the extra cash, as we were paying extra for a better experience and didn't get it. WOuld stay again but would choose room style wisely next time.

Nice hotel in the heart of OSNABRÜCK
All good, lots of stairs be aware if you have heavy bags (like we did). The blackout curtains where a fail, it was a huge window split into three sections and no matter how you moved them there was always an opening to let the light in, and durring the summer when the sun rises at 4:30am it would have been nice to keep it dark but that our only complaint. It's a short walk to the old town area and the Dom Church with beautiful history and amazing food nearby. If you want modern shopping it's very nearby as well. Good Breakfast if you get that feature when you book. All in all a great location, and a very nice hotel.
