Peace, space and privacy at Quinta do Vale
Quinta do Vale is located in the beautiful province of Beira Alta, 70 km North of Coimbra. The Quinta is traditionally a farm that we have renovated and expanded after it had been vacant for 40 years. The quinta is located slightly higher so that there is a nice view of a valley and the Serra da Estrela in the distance. The house is completely detached on a plot of approximately 2 ha. There is peace, space and privacy on the quinta.
The house contains a large bright dining kitchen with a spacious (6 person) oak table, a five-burner gas stove and a dishwasher. There is a barbecue on the terrace with the olive tree
In the sitting room is a TV with Dutch channels and CD player. To relax, the fireplace room is suitable with the fireplace and easy chair. Wifi is available throughout the house and outside on the terraces.
The three bedrooms can comfortably sleep 6 people (+ baby).
The house has central heating. Next to the house is the swimming pool of 6x12 m ..

Un bel endroit mais une piscine inexploitable à cause de la sécheresse
La maison et le jardin sont très beaux. On s y sent bien. Le chemin de pierres pour y arriver est raide et avec des trous. Une bonne voiture est nécessaire. A cause de la sécheresse nous n avons pas pu nous baigner dans la piscine. Ce qui est dommage !
Les gens qui nous ont accueillis sont très sympathiques.

Jardim mal cuidado
A Moradia está muito bem recuperada com bom gosto, bem equipada. Porém o facto de não possuir canais portugueses é um ponto negativo e a net falhava frequentemente.
A parte exterior a nível do relvado está muito mal cuidada o que provoca a acumulação de lixo e consequentemente muitos insectos.
O WC da suite tem sempre um cheiro a fossa muito activo e, como não existe porta a separar do quarto foi bastante desagradável.
Quanto à disponibilidade e atenção dos anfitriões sempre muito simpáticos.
