I did not like booking months in advance for a 2 night stay.The first night was the advertised price .The second night was 2.5× the price the second night.The reasoning was the hotel was full. This practise is sleazy at best.The hotel has a floating rate day by day.Wich is not explained!

Thank you Frank for the feedback. We actually have a "your stay, your way" program where, housekeeping does not enter the room unless you request service. As well, we have placed on all the beds a "service" card you can hang on the door with two options, a replenish (which we would switch out amenities for you) or a Refresh which would be a service with making the bed. I hope this helps! Our apologies it was not clear for you during your stay. We will do better ensuring all guests are well informed.

The front desk staff was friendly. The fans in the pool atrium were so loud it was not enjoyable to sit by the pool. The pool opens at 10am and closes at 10pm which was inconvenient. There should be quiet times from 8am-10am and 10pm-11pm so that you can still use the pool. I understand that the rooms are all around the pool but that fan is so loud that it would drown out any noise and the quiet times would just make the experience more enjoyable, especially with kids. When they came to close the pool the security guard just whipped through and told everyone to get into their rooms, and the rooms are small so it was hard to visit in there, being part of a big group all staying together. The hotel is dated, Denny's is overpriced and poor food quality. I usually never write reviews, but I would not stay here again, it was medocre and we have better quality in Penticton for the same price

Thank you or your feedback Fred. We are very sorry to hear that you found the pool fans to be so loud. They do need to be on for circulation as it is an atrium style pool area. We do turn them down at quiet time in the hotel which is 7am to 10pm. We will definitely look into making the quiet time one hour later. We do have banquet spaces you can rent through our banquet manager if you are a large group looking mingle and spend time together after our quiet time hours. The staff were charming! This hotel is very old and needs a total "refresh". The lobby doors were old, marked up and the glass was smudged. The hallway carpets were old worn and looked awful. There was mold in the bathroom and although the towels and linens were fresh, there was a stale smell to the room.

No pool or hot tub. Not notified about this prior to booking although it has been out of service for 2 years!! The shower had hair and was worn out. The beds were very comfortable.

Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Great location. Only issue was the ice machine could be clearly heard in the room when in use or making ice. Unfortunately the pool was closed for renovations. Looking forward to using it on return visit. I would definitely stay here again.
