When we checked in Jonathan P was the Front Desk lead. He was very friendly and helpful, good sense of humor, and took care of 4 different reservations very efficiently. He was able to answer our questions and put our rooms close together. The property was clean, the rooms are very nice! I liked that the alarm clock could be unplugged to avoid an unplanned alarm going off very early. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

We went for spring break for the kids and the pool and hot tub. When we got there the pool was closed and hot tub not even functioning. That was a big disappointment. Fortunately the hotel next door was letting us come use theirs. Not as convenient to walk to pool but at least we got to have fun at the pool for the kids.

Enjoyed most everything about my stay. The only thing that was a concern was the noise around me throughout the night. There were a lot and I do not believe it was the other people staying there.

The night manager was kind enough to help with my laundry. There was leftover garbage on the floor and one of the pillows seems like it hadn’t been washed. Breakfast was great although the morning manager seemed annoyed. The hot was not available which was a big reason I picked this hotel. Some a bit of a bummer.

I liked that there was a ton to do within walking distance. The rooms were clean and nice. However the pool and hot tub were in disrepair and not functional. Which is one of the reason why we chose this place. Very disappointed kids.

It was exactly what we needed for our stay: clean rooms, a fitness room, and walkable to the convention center. Staff was very friendly .

Stayed here for one night just to get away from home for one night. Mainly to swim in the pool and enjoy the hot tub. Guess what? The pool and hot tub were both closed. Kinda wasted my money. Should’ve just stayed home.

Looks like it's falling apart and needs mass maintenance. Not impressed. Breakfast has gotten a lot worse at all Hamptons.

Excellent Place to Stay
Our family of five stayed here three nights over Christmas holiday and had a great time. The room was spacious and comfortable including a pull-out sofa bed. Breakfast was very good with different hot item selection each morning. Nice location close to shopping and restaurants in Layton.

Needs some work.
The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel is run-down and cleanliness could be better. The desk chair was very stained, there was something on the upper walls of the bathroom and the light switch was very dirty, along with the floor edges. There was wood missing on the little wall between sitting room and beds and the white sheer curtains weren't very white.

Hot tub broken. Rusty & in disrepair. Phoned-in & asked to be near elevator & not at end of hallway Sr. ADA…. Assigned near end of hallway but Front desk reassigned (tried to help) but bad back did NOT GET SPA that I FILTERED for Pool, Spa, & Breakfast.

Friday Night Stay
The stay was good. The hot tub had too much chlorine that stung your eyes. Hotels.com took over two hours to confirm our stay and customer service through the app was super slow. The night clerk was awesome.

Many people think that smell comes from too much chlorine in the pool but our levels are to UT standards. What you are smelling is not actually chlorine, but chloramines. Chloramines are chemical compounds that occur when chlorine disinfectants combine with organic substances such as sweat, oils, skin cells and urine in the pool. When chlorine is added to pool water, two active chemicals are released that kill bacteria and actively sanitize the water.. Again thank you for your response! Staff was always polite and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful but meats should be cooked a bit longer. Was disappointed that so many guests came to breakfast barefoot, in pajamas of bathing suites. Is there a way to tell these people that others in the room would prefer casual and not disgusting.
