It's a great location, but still overpriced for the basic rooms. The room was very dim after sunset, the lamps are naked lightbulbs that do nothing to brighten the room. The shower is just in a corner of the bathroom with nowhere to put any bottles besides the floor. It was clean and convenient and fine for one night, but wouldn't be comfortable for a long stay.

Denmark sojourn
Hotel is 10 mins walk from train station. You can walk to the tourist destination. Rooms are comfortable and of good size. Has no kettle or fridge. Has no air cond but has a fridge of it is hot. Good breakfast.

Staff was truly a LIFESAVER!
OMG! Signe, the receptionist/bartender/concierge was WONDERFUL! One of our party decided to check out the train station, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, at 10PM. Signe gave her a map and directions. After an hour Signe offered to go search for our comrade when she got off, at 11pm. 10 minutes later she appeared back at the hotel with our slightly frantic, lost friend! We were SO relieved!

Best thing about this hotel is proximity to the train station. The staff were pleasant and room/hotel adequately clean. The room lacked a safe, but biggest issue was the elevator. It took me up to the third floor, bur the door wouldn't open. I managed to get down to the first floor, and the door finally opened. I complained to the front desk, who assured me that it would be checked. At checkout I got stuck again for a few minutes- not good!

Fantastic breakfast, just a few minutes walk from the station. Loved our room, simple but cozy with view onto a main street. You do hear trams run frequently and people walk by but we liked that hustle and bustle. Slept soundly on good mattresses.

Single room way smaller than shown.
Hotel and condition fine, but room was simply not as expected and as shown on pictures. Same look, but only half the size and with a tiny-tiny bathroom and even smaller shower. :-(

Visit to the fairytale town

The location is superb. It is within walking distance of the train station, parks, attractions, shopping and grocery stores. Pedestrian friendly streets facilitate walking The compact room met our needs with a great shower in the bathroom. Nice linens. The buffet breakfast had tasty offerings, but there were so many guests, the staff were challenged to keep the offerings stocked and the tables cleared. A real plus was the snack room, with beverage service and fruit and snacks available most of the time.

The room and furniture is kind of old fashioned kind compared to what we expect in a Scandinavian country. Room is not big. However, I love the free snacks, fruits and beverages. If only, we have access to drinking water at the snack area too. Staff is friendly but seems busy to attend to many customers. Lift is kind of small. Mostly walked up and down 2 levels, which is faster. Breakfast selection is fine. Intercontinental breakfast. Pastry is yummy. Perhaps it’s Danish pastry. There is a children playroom. Kids love the playroom and free fruits and hot chocolates. Not so near to the train station. It’s not easy dragging the luggages through cobbled pavements for quite a distance. Need to carry the luggages up some steps in hotel lobby too. No ramp. Other than that, it’s worth the price.

Water and Wifi
Overall very nice hotel and the staff were great. Very good breakfast buffet. I did encounter two problems: in my first room my shower only put out lukewarm water. After complaining and after the plumber gave up trying to fix the problem, the staff switched me to an upgraded room and were wonderful about doing it. Very professional, very friendly. The second room, which was a great room (with hot water!) unfortunately was at the very end of the hall so that the wifi was horrible, going in and out all the time. I had to go the lobby to do work on the computer.

Nice room, perfect location
We had a very nice stay at the Milling Hotel in Odense, the breakfast was very tasty with a wide variety of items. Room was clean, quiet and reachable by elevator which was a nice break from the european norm. The bathroom is in desperate need for an update, but for one night it didn't bother us. Staff is friendly, they offer snacks in the lobby in the afternoon. We would go back for sure.

Good location, excellent hotel.
Very convenient for station and town, a short walk to both. Free car parking plus an excellent breakfast. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Our family room was spacious even with three beds in it. It all added up to excellent value.

Traditional hotel in good location
Great location for arrival by train. We asked for a quiet room and it was. Traditional style hotel which even has a small separate selection of Danish breakfast foods alongside the good hit and cold buffet in offer. Very reasonable additional cost if you want to make up a take-away lunch. Nothing too much trouble for any of the staff especially the breakfast helpers. No frills no toiletries in room but readily supplied hairdryer and good supplies of hot drinks in reception area at all times and very welcome cake in afternoon Stayed 13 nights while at recent ITU Multi Sports Wirld Championships no complaints at all

Nice hotel in central location
Was disappointed with Odense as a destination but would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Odense. Clean room , excellent breakfast, central location. The staff was mostly very helpful except the lady at check in time who was adamant that since checkin was from 2 PM she would not give the room at 1:57PM also. And she was rude also. Otherwise all other were courteous and helpful. The best thing about this hotel is free coffee / tea / chocolate milk etc 24 hours of the day. You can sit in the hotel or even take it away. Hotel was quiet near to city centre and central station
