We stayed here for 7 nights during a recent family holiday to Tonga. The rooms are nice. Each one has a air conditioning unit, bathroom with shower, 2 large double beds, and a private outside balcony. The beds themselves were very comfortable.
Unfortunately, the day we checked in, we were only able to have lukewarm showers. But not the type to complain, we just lived with it. However, when returned to the hotel on the evening of the next day, we found a notice that water had been completely depleted. We were unable to have showers, wash hands, or flush toilets at all. Water wasn't restored until the following day, and hot water wasn't available until the second to last night of our stay.
All that said, these things happen and we just took it as it came. Much of Tonga relies on rain water, and seeing as it hadn't rained decently for some time leading up to our trip, I suppose a water shortage was inevitable, although inconvenient for the 24 hours it lasted. The harder thing to get used to was the ice cold showers we had to take because of no hot water.
But overall, we enjoyed our stay here, and would come again once the hot water issues are sorted. The staff were very accomodating during our stay, and were even happy to wash our clothes as the hotel did not have a laundry facility we could use.
