Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel and a friendly welcome. Room spacious and well-appointed. Sadly I did not find out until I had booked, that the restaurant and bar weren't open. Would have been ideal if, after a day of exploring, you could return to the hotel for an evening meal and a drink.

Fabulous home from home
Fabulous dog friendly spot in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Tim was a fantastic host who has thought of everything. Large and comfortable room, luxury bedding and ensuite bathroom. Delicious breakfast served in the beautiful courtyard garden.

Foodies delight!
A flying visit, arriving late and leaving early. Welcoming and comfortable, however the overwhelming standout and the reason that I will definitely return is the food - dinner and breakfast were both exceptional.

Lovely location and warm welcoming and exceptionally accommodating staff. Fine locally sourced food, well presented. A calm quiet and peaceful environment we felt privileged to enjoy. Despite their warnings about limited Wi-Fi we had a good 4G signal!

Absolutly fantastic! The room was large, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was as good as any we have ever stayed at and better than most. The food was indeed fine dining. Just the right amount, but the flavours and use of ingredients was exquisite. Staff were all very friendly, chatty and helpful and although not fine dining, the breakfast was a full full English. Would highly recommend the Saracen's Head, they deserve success.

A Gem of a Find
We loved it - the food was absolutely first class and the service and hospitality we received could not be faulted. The inn is situated in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and set in peaceful and calm surroundings. Far away from the "madding crowd" but still close enough to drive to the delightful villages and seaside towns that North Norfolk has to offer. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future. A gem of a find.

Would go again!
We loved it here, the staff were so friendly, we felt at home and nothing was too much trouble. The room was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. Liked the little touches like the flannel for removing your make up! We found the whole experience welcoming and cosy. The food was great, the choice at breakfast was amazing especially for such a small hotel. You could tell it was locally sourced

Off the beaten track in North Norfolk
A charming, welcoming and peaceful place to stay off the beaten track in North Norfolk. Despite covid complications everything (room, meals etc) ran smoothly. Friendly, helpful people, decent food, spotless.

Perfect location “in the middle of nowhere - in the centre of everything!” Great for cycling along country lanes including to Blickling. Friendly staff and thorough, consistent COVID measures in place. Recommended.

Over casual attitude from management when given an unclean pair of ladies knickers which were found in our room. No apologies given or statement of more future attention will be given by cleaning staff. I felt like they could/would not attend to any problem found.

We were extremely comfortable and well looked after at the Saracen’s Head. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Well located for exploring North Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great stay
We stayed for two nights to explore the area and cycle. Plenty of bike storage.Great breakfasts. Quiet (middle of nowhere!) Good range of local food in the evening.Could have stayed longer.

This hotel is in a very quiet spot.So when we checked in we booked dinner as we didn’t want to drive anywhere else.Dinner was excellent. Breakfast very good and staff very helpful.Our room was cold when we checked in but on asking regarding the heating we were very quickly given a heater.

Very welcoming, excellent staff. Superb evening meals. Be wary of the huge full English breakfast - only for the large appetite. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Please be aware of the isolated location and the narrow country lanes. We would definitely return

Welcoming and friendly staff, excellent food in the restaurant in the evening and an extensive selection for breakfast. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. It's situated in a quiet location but within easy reach of the main attractions around. It's a 10/10 from me.

Only stayed one night but it was a lovely experience, loved the the location and it was so peaceful. The food was very good and so were all the staff we met. Overall a little gem and would highly recommend if looking to get away from the maddening crowd.
