Overnight birthday stay in the woods!
Comfortable overnight stay with breakfast. We loved the separate lodges, stayed in Briar which was spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast, dinner, swimming pool all need to be prebooked. Booking a pool slot meant we had it to ourselves which was perfect. Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and served by a very cheery and polite lady. Bed was comfy and room was clean apart from the odd cobweb, but as it's situated in a wood we were expecting spiders etc. Wifi patchy, but again, to be expected. We had a lovely stay and i imagine it's very pretty in the summer.

Perfect, just perfect
Such a beautiful remote place with amazing facilities and very fairly priced. Great food and great service from the staff, they can’t do enough for you. We stayed in the willow suite with a private hot tub. Will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful stay it was so relaxing, had a great swim will hope to go back again. Breakfast and evenjng meal excellent and catered for over duetary needs.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and found a staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and comfortable, although some of the furnishings had seen better days. The use of the swimming pool was a highlight, but we were disappointed to find that breakfast was not included in our rate, which was not clear on the Expedia website.

Hi Philip Please let us know which room you stayed in so we can check the furniture so if necessary we can rectify any problems. I have contacted Expedia re your comment that breakfast is not included in the rate . I was told when using the platform if breakfast is included their system tells you beside the rate. I agree this could be made clearer but having spoken to Expedia they were not able to see your point of view which I have to say has merit I.e it could be clearer Here at Felbrigg if guests book direct they receive breakfast with their stay but our channel rates don't include this as we don't want to pay commission on our food sales.

Spent a couple of days here and it was great. Friendly staff, lovely food, fantastic room and amenities. We had the afternoon tea when we were there and it didn't disappoint, mixture of sandwiches and amazing homemade pastries. We had the tea in the conservatory about 5pm and the wildlife you can see whilst enjoying the delicious food was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Loved the size of the lodge and having its own hot tub. It was well decorated and very comfortable with wifi and sky. Only downside, evening meal was expensive and lamb tagine was just lamb in a spicy gravy and plain cous cous

Hi, Stuart& Helen Glad, you enjoyed your stay. Sorry, you did not enjoy the lamb tangine and thought our food was expensive. However, when people dine out they must remember its the cost of other overheads like staff etc that dictate the price of eating in restaurants and not the food. We do not feel that £30.00 For 2 courses and £37.50 for 3 is expensive in the modern-day. Lamb Tangine is Slowly cooked lamb in a spicy sauce.

Regrettably we did not visit the Felbrigg Lodge Hotel as we cancelled our booking a few days before our proposed visit due to a surge of Covid -19 virus cases in the Norfolk area. My wife and I are both in the 'most at risk' group and therefore felt it prudent to cancel, in line with Government advice. We hope to visit the area in Spring 2021 - so will make a new booking in the future.

Great location, very secluded set amongst trees down a small road, about 3 miles from Cromer. We had a room(very large) above the kitchen, we were a bit worried about this but not noticeable. There are small cottages/lodges in the grounds in a amongst the pine trees, which looked a better bet if at all worried. The swimming pool was fantastic. The bedroom itself was great with 2 seating areas and a large shower room, our only complaint was the duvet was like having a carpet on top of you. Slightly odd arrival routine without much info, but not really an issue, for those of you with electric cars, there was a charging point.Breakfast ok, nothing special. Would recommend this hotel for a couple of nights.

Hi, Nick Good to see you enjoyed your stay overall. We do have varied weight duvets and could have provided a lighter one if requested. On arrival, we do try to inform and show guests where facilities such as the pool and restaurant are but for guests who don't require our little tour it's not compulsory.

Shabby sheek describes this hotel with the accent on shabby!! Cleanliness moderate with no room service becuase of COVID!!! Breakfast very average, dinner on one night very poor.

Very enjoyable night stay in Oak Cottage. All very clean and tidy and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good. We used pool and hot tub at booked slot and my wife had an excellent massage.

Favourite place for husband and I to come away to spend quality time together. Love being in a secluded cottage but with hotel facilities available including delicious breakfast and evening meal. Also booking swimming pool meant we always had it to ourselves. This was put in place for covid but is an excellent system.

Lovely ‘de luxe’ B&B, secluded and peaceful. Very good breakfasts and tasty (if slightly early) dinners (if required). Also a very good pub/restaurant a short drive away to add variety.......

Yes you are set in 8 acres of countryside so expect a few cobwebs a few owls hooting at night and lots of pheasants around.

Very stylish and up to date although attention to detail re hanging of curtains and blinds could have been better. Otherwise beautiful room and excellent food.

Quiet getaway
Beautiful grounds with friendly staff. It is located about 10 mins from downtown cromer. The lodges were spacious, clean and quiet. The pool was nice( we were the only ones there). The breakfast was tasty as well. I will return!
