“A/C Didn't Work”

The A/C didn't work the first night. Cool outside, but no outside air access with A/C unit. Asked to have it repaired while we were out. Some work was done, but it didn't work again the second night. Asked to move rooms, and the A/C in that room didn't work even after 45 minutes of attempted repair. Finally moved to a third room and the A/C worked but was very noisy. Another room in our party also had A/C that didn't work - all on the Executive floor. I'd never stay there again.

Very nice neighborhood in downtown Arlington.

“Got Nickle and Dimed.”

This hotel was very nice and extremely clean. The food in the restaurant was also exceptional. But I hate feeling like I have been nickle and dimed. If you want to use internet in your room, that will cost you and extra $10/day. The parking garage is an additional $17/day. If you decide to order room service a $12 hamburger will end up costing you $24 once they add on the 20% service charge, $2 delivery charge, and gratuity, which is all automaticaly added onto the bill. The internet was not even worth the money, it was extrememly slow.

“Great Hotel in Ballston”

Great clean hotel....near DC...metro is below so easily accessible. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy drive to D.C. Hotel is less chaotic than staying in DC. I'll be back.

“Average”

The staff was very friendly. I was very unhappy to find bugs in my shower. The staff was quick to move me to another room and give me complimentary breakfast in the morning. Beds were very comfortable, although pillows were flimsy.

Try out the brunch at Carribean Breeze...amazing!! And in walking distance.

“Enjoyed”

Only stayed for a night. Room clean and comfortable, hotel staff looked a little bored to be there but then again it was midnight when I arrived!

“Metro Convience”

Booked this hotel last minute and wanted something close to the Metro line into DC. Metro station is just outside hotel which was very nice. There was a mall connected to the hotel that was nice and there were plenty of places to pick from to eat at with in walking distance. The room was very clean and housekeeping was extremely kind, warm, and friendly. Bathroom was a bit small but it worked. We arrived by car and found it a bit confusing to find the front entrance when turning off of Fairfax, not well marked and too many taxis in the way, would have been easier to figure out if we had came around the block the other direction. Parking in garage was expensive but cheapest in area for DC, but you had in/out privileges. Overall was happy with our stay.

“Lots of surprises”

The location was terrific~ right next to the Metro. There was an all-night I HOP across the street that was very well run and had delicious food! People on Hilton staff were very polite. Room was nicer than expected, a pleasant surprise., very clean everyday. Outside sitting area was great and beautifully decorated with live plants. Other surprises that were not pleasant: no refrigerator and no bathroom fan!!!

Area recommendations

Clarendon had fabulous shopping and restaurants. About a mile away.

Getting around

Easy to get to all the sites of DC by using the Metro next door.

“Everything You Need in Arlington, With a Very Friendly Staff”

Great staff - really, actually go out of their way to take care of you. Even the housekeepers. Business Center poor. Great location. Near everything in Arlington and the Ballston Mall and Ballston Metro Station. Try Ted's Montana Grill not far away.

“Hotel Arlington”

The hotel staff were extremely helpful. They could not have been nicer to me and my family. Each person went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. I travel to Washington several times a year and have never stayed at this hotel, but I will always stay there now. Thanks to everyone for making this a great weekend. You make a difference.
