“Nice extra touches - great stay”

We enjoyed our stay here. There were nice touches, like a night light in the bathroom and a quiet heater. No outside traffic noise. The breakfast was very complete and good, and they had hot drinks and fruit out all the time. We would definitely go back.

“Great small hotel”

This is my 3rd time in this Hotel, I liked the simple set up of this hotel, nothing fancy and yet clean and and cousy. The location is great even when I had to drive to DC in the rush hour it was 40 min. Close to the hotel some good food spots and shopping malls. The staff is friendly and helpfully. I would go back any time I visit DC for business or otherwie.

“Very Nice Stay”

I needed a room close to Arlington under a current amount and the hampton inn was the one. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. Very nice and the employees were great

“Perfect choice for Greater DC Days and Old Town Alex nights”

Couldn't be happier with the accomodations, staff and price vs. location. Very, very good and convenient at a much better price than others. We were two adults and two teens. All of us were happy.

“Great location!”

Hampton's are great, clean, and you can't beat the breakfast. This location is close to the major DC highways, and close to Old Town Alexandria.

“We had a great time!”

We went to DC to go to a political rally. It was hard to find a room but we did at the Hampton Inn, Alexandria. We arrived very early in the morning (4am) and the man at the desk was waiting for us. The room was fabulous - very comfortable bed, very clean and well equipped. The staff at front desk were very helpful with calling cabs and were friendly. The breakfast was abundant and quite decent. It was overall a wonderful experience. The only drawback was that we did not have a car so we had to pay taxis to get to the metro station and Old Towne which got expensive.

“Much nicer than Expected - Perfect Family getaway to DC”

This hotel was great. Most importantly it was super clean. The food was good too, full breakfast included. We stayed for one week on vacation, traveled to DC most days via the Metro. Surpisingly there was a beautiful pool with a lifeguard. This was unexpected because the hotel is located off the highway. There were restaurants and shops close by. We took the Metro (to DC) from King St. which was close by, that worked out perfectly. I would definately recommend this hotel to families as well as business people.

Area recommendations

Must see Old Town Alexandria - really nice also short trip into DC was awesome. One of the days we took a trip to Mt. Vernon as well, great day for families.
