The hotel has changed tremendously since the last time I stayed there before COVID. I was a regular and I'm not a Virginia resident, that should explain how much I Loved this location. But, it must be under new management. For starters everything has a QR Code?? There is not a personal touch anywhere?? The room are extremely small and refrigerator size is a joke?? I remember the rooms being much bigger with a Full size fridge, Sink, and Cook-top. We made our own dinner we stayed at this location in the past. When you enter the hotel you notice immediately that the carpet needs to be vacuumed at the Entrance door and in the elevator. The TV, wait for it Another QR Code for access. The bathroom was filthy and had mold around the toilet?? Lastly, the Breakfast used to be amazing with options for non pork eaters and vegetarians; this location used to offer omelets made-to-order. Now, they offer cold potatoes, eggs, and half-cooked meat? We passed and left to Order Breakfast at Cracker Barrel that's approximately 5 minutes away. Way better. I think it's safe to say I won't return to this location. Would suggest an overhaul of Customer Service, Cleanliness, Eliminating QR Codes, and Major improvement in Dining options?
