The woman in the reception was very rude and a very unpleasant person.

I realize this is a cheap hotel, and you usually get what you pay for. I was not expecting a 5-star experience, but I was expecting to get what I paid for. I paid for a NON-SMOKING room 3 days in advance through Expedia. When I checked in, it was obviously a smoking room. When I called the front desk and finally convinced them I had "bought" a nonsmoking room, and that I was indeed in a smoking room (the ash trays and stinch were a dead giveaway!) they admitted that because I was so late checking in (10:30 PM) that all the smoking rooms were sold. I guess it didn't matter I had paid for the room 3 days earlier. The next morning, trying to take a shower, the shower head AND tub spout were blowing water into the tub so fast that it limited me to a 3-minute shower before actually beginning to overflow into the floor. In my rush to finish, I hadn't noticed the comp shampoo that was left by the tub was actually only conditioner, that I didn't have time to even rinse out of my hair. They moved me to a different room for the next 2 nights that was better. However, the 2nd night I tried to watch the VT-Georgia Tech game on ESPN and couldn't get it, although ESPN was listed on the channel list. At the front desk, they couldn't understand why I wasn't able to get it, so they took me to another room (where the customer had cancelled at the last minute). It didn't work there either, but was the same room from before, tub NOT fixed!! Young lady at front desk was very nice.

“Never again”

This hotel is in complete disrepair! The first room we were assigned didn't have any power in half the room, including the tv. The second room assigned had a large hole in the shower wall and was missing several tiles around the hole. The third room had the shower curtain rod ripped off the wall. The forth room's walls were filthy , the tub barely drained, and the second bed was broken. We decided to keep that room for fear of what we would find next. The desk staff were hostile and inattentive for our whole stay. If our car had a bathroom attached we would have rather slept in it!

Not a good hotel: not very clean and strange smell. Can not open any window. No fresh air!

the weirdness of the draining of the third floor corridor asside, ythis was a good stay. The shuttle to the transit was a nice convineince and the breakfast was good. what we found out later was the third floor hallway sloap was larger than designed and might be geting worse. Didnt know, so couldnt worry about it. If you stay here I woudl recomend the first floor if avalible. Unless you like stairs

“Good value, modest accommodations, no shuttle to shopping malls”

It is near the junction of I-95, I-395 and I-495, close to Reagan Airport and the Van Dorn Metro Stop with shuttle Service to both. It is not in a scenic location and does not offer shuttle service to nearby shopping malls. This and all the street traffic means it is not a location for strolling. You stay there for the places you can get to from there.

“Good Location, economy hotel”

Excellent stores and restaurants. Internet was horrible. The use the same from the Comfort Inn 200 feet away. Low signal. Don't plan on using the hotel to do anything online. Great choices for breakfast.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel needs improvement in the maintenance of the rooms! The commode was barely sitting in place. And the paints of the wall in the bathroom are much to be desired.
