I found my 8 person shared dormitory not very practical in arrangement. There were no chairs for sitting or putting on stockings (which stinks if you're stuck with a top bunk). There is a TV in the room, which is a nice touch, but the room is configured in a way so that only the lower bunk of one of the beds can see it (again, there are no chairs or anything other than your bed to sit on). The bathroom is a single use en-suite, so in the morning if you need to use the toilet, there may be a wait as someone is probably in the shower. There are two different faucets on the bathroom sink, so you can wash your face and brush your teeth with either very hot water or very cold water; it is not possible to mix the two for a nice warm combination. The kitchen is right off the bedroom (with a door that does not close properly), so you will definitely be awoken by people clanging glasses and pots in the morning. Also, I found my roommates not so courteous, with one in particular coming in each morning (on Saturday and Sunday) at 7 talking on the phone (while everyone else in the room is obviously still sleeping); perhaps some posted house rules could help for those people who are ignorant about basic hostel etiquette. All that said, ear plugs were provided, the rooms were new and nicely decorated, the location was amazing, the staff was really kind, and the facility was secure (bonus: wifi was available throughout the hostel).
