The hotel itself is lovely, all communal areas were very nice. Room was basic but had everything you need with extra pillows, blanket, iron, hair dryer etc. Seemed clean enough although quite dated.
Breakfast was nice and all you can eat, lovely view from the dining room, windows could have done with a clean (inside) they looked like they hadnt been done in a while which was a shame as we obviously wanted to sit at the window to enjoy the view.
The motown singer was brilliant we enjoyed watching this from the balcony in the ballroom
Hotel is in a great location bang next to the tramway to go down to the front. We went to a lovely turkish restaurant across the road - plenty of options though within a couple of minutes walk
We parked in the ncp which is a few minutes walk and we got a discount from the hotel so it was around £7 for 24 hrs.
I possibly would stay again maybe in a premier room. We were in a standard and there was a loud noise from the water system every so often throughout the night so i didnt sleep well. I told the receptionist and she said she would report it so hopefully it gets sorted.
Overall it was a nice stay for the price
