Surprising gem
After a long drive pulling up to this beautiful old manor house was quite a treat. This all original well maintained house has fabulous gardens and very comfortable rooms. Friendly host......Thank you :-)

A real gem
What a lovely place to stay - a real gem if you appreciate history, landscape and the environment. We received a warm welcome from the owner. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the dining room is glorious and breakfast time was a real treat talking to other guests. John also catered very considerately at breakfast time for my wife's gluten free requirements. With my interest in history this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. A real delight.

Tower at Mold - a fantastic place.
Great stay at this wonderful hotel. Totally different to the usual hotel chains but still with all the comfort you could want and more.

A wonderful and very relaxing place to stay
Wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Very few hotels have this kind of history. It’s been owned by the same family for around 500 years!

If you like old country houses, with all their quirks, this will be a great place to stay. It was clean and reasonably comfortable and everything worked - including essentials like wifi and a warm shower! A friendly welcome too.

What a unique and amazing place! It's like staying in your own stately home or castle. History all around you, wonderful garden and impeccable breakfast. Not your average B&B!

We stayed at the Tower for 3 nights, it is a fantastic place, you really do feel like Lord and Lady of the Manor! Breakfast in the drawing room overlooking the lake, what could be better!

This hotel is stunning both outside and in. My room and private bathroom were spotless and had absolutely everything I could possibly need. I was given a very warm welcome and breakfast was tailored to exactly what I wanted with the addition of some lovely fresh strawberries, which were delicious. I only wish I could stay in hotels like this for business all the time!

Not like the others...
The Tower offers accommodation that is most definitely not like the norm. It has history and the wow factor. Ideally suited for tourists as the hotel is steeped in history.

No good for a business stay
Lovely old stately home but no wifi, no en suite(shared bathroom) and no bar/evening meals made this no good for my purposes. Nice place to stay if you are on a leisure break though.

The Tower, Mold, North Wales
A beautiful weekend retreat in the country. Ideal for viewing the local historical area which is little known about. Very nice lady looked after us like house guests. Definitely intend to return in the near future.

A unique experience. We were treated like friends by the owners rather than paying guests. We only stayed one night, but we had a wonderful time. The tour of the house the next morning after an excellent cooked breakfast was most interesting and enjoyable.

Excellent B&B
Although it was a little difficult to find this is a great B&B in a very historical building, set within some beautiful countryside. The room was enormous and I felt like a King for the night. In the local town (Mold) there are lots of places to eat, I would recommend the small Tapas Bar (El Tomate), very good food and excellent service. Will definitely book again if in the area on business or pleasure.

Tower B @ BNercwys Road Mold Flints
This Hotel was a delight to stay in the surrounds were lovely. It is a heritage House and full of history. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean with brand new showers and toilets. The owners are very nice and very helpful. The surrounding area has plenty to see. We were there to see family and were taken to the local Public House The Butchers which was a very friendly pub the meals where excellent and the people very friendly we spent the night talking and laughing with then all. We visited the local market in Mold which has a large selection of different stalls. Our main reason was to visit family and really 4 days did not give us time to visit the many places there is to see. Having lived in Gwernymynydd when i was a youngster it has changed a lot but the friendliness has not. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone going to that area.The entrance to the Hotel which are giant gates is very spectacular and the grounds with the lake are lovely, We were given a tour of the house and told about the history which goes back to the 14th century and is listed in the Doomsday Book.Once again I would recommend this House.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum, wunderschönes Gebäude mit viel Charme. Die Zimmer sind groß und sensationell eingerichtet. Wer auf alte Gemäuer steht, muss hier einfach übernachten. John hat ein tolles Frühstück gezaubert und ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber. Absolut empfehlenswert, jederzeit wieder!!!

Geweldig verblijf, super service en flexibiliteit van de eigenaar van the Tower. Alles kan geregeld worden. De sfeer van het gebouw is fantastisch. Wel wat verder weg van het centrum van Mold.

Il vaut vraiment la peine de faire un détour de 100km pour aller y rester au Tower même un nuit si vous pouvez! On était de retour de l'écosse en Suisse lorsqu'on a trouvé ce lieu idyllique.
