Incredibly small rooms!
I never realized hotel rooms could be this small until I arrived in Aalborg. The room was legitimately the size of a train compartment - so small that I could stand by the door and reach my leg across to touch the opposite wall. Oh well. It’s Scandinavia - high prices, for very little. The breakfast was good, but served in a bit of a cramped corner, so people were shoving me, and I was shoving them. It’s good enough for a night, but at this price, it might be better to spend a few more Kroner and give yourself some breathing room.

nice hotel :)
Wonderful breakfast and very kind staff. Some windows on the first floor face the breakfast room, better to check the view before leaving them open :) The hotel is in the middle of the nightlife area, but I heard nothing.

You get what you pay for
Had a pretty ok stay here with my boyfriend. Was plesantly surpised by the size of our room - it was much bigger than it looked like in the pictures. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but then again, I could see they did what they could with the size of the buffet. Would 100% recomend if you are going to Aalborg to party as it's located in what seems like the main party street.

We had 3 rooms and ours faced the street. It was so loud all night long, and until 6am, that sleep was not possible. It was very hot so the windows had to be open but even so, the noise came through closed windows. These rooms should not even be available for rental on Thursday through Sunday which is when staff said were the party nights. Breakfast was just adequate. Just stay somewhere else as Aalborg is nothing special.

Unfortunately, the central location of the hotel may represent a disadvantage when the main street is fully crowded of people. We are sorry that we were able to provide only 2 rooms out of the 3 that you reserved, with access to the air conditioner and sealed from the noise coming from the main street. Unfortunately, one of the categories of rooms could only face the main street as there are no others like it within to the hotel. We have also discussed your feedback with the other employees and made sure to inform every guest of the possible outcome of staying in that room type during events occurring in Aalborg, with the possibility of changing the room type on spot if others rooms are available. Middle of everything
Great for a short sleepover (1-3 nights) rooms has no airconditioning and the windows are facing in to the breakfast area/relax area. Can be a bit hot. Beds are good and the hotel overal is in great condition. Perfect located in the middle of everything and the bar street. Short walk for shopping, restaurantes etc. Recommended!

Impeccable, suitable and relaxing
I was greeted and helped upon arrival, with easy and fast check in. This was ideal with my plans for that day. I was super grateful for the care and attention by all staff. I was extremely impressed with the facilities which made my stay very comfortable and sufficient.

A drinker's Paradise!
I was forewarned by the car rental guy at the Aalborg Airport that the Jomfru Ane was ideal if my intent was to drink, due to its proximity to many bars, and even a strip club! The hotel has a long flight of entrance stairs so be careful and take your multivitamins. If inebriated, don't attempt scaling those stairs. Not place for children. Breakfast area has framed sexually themed imagery. Guests do get half off parking at the nearby Q-Park (cost of 80 Kroners a day). A Mac store is nearby, as is a 7Eleven to purchase cheaper beer and a SIM card. Two stars!

great stay with awesome location.
it was a great central location for all the most happening area in the city. i had access to all the top bars and clubs during the week. the noise goes until 5:30 am daily. on the weekends it goes til 6:30. i knew this before going into the trip but didnt realize it was super loud. i didnt want to use ear plugs because i needed to wake up early for my work and didnt want to miss it. the staff is great, the breakfast is solid and the room is small but enough space for me and my bags. bathroom was clean but only downfall is the room didnt have air conditioning. it was quite warm but cant open the windows because its too loud and also poeple smoke and it comes to my room.

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was small but OK, located at the back of the hotel away from the road noise, but had free earplugs on the bedroom table. These were rather pointless as when the nightclub 2 floors below started playing, the bed and other furniture in the room started to vibrate to the beat, it was so loud you could tell which song they were playing. This went on until way after 3am. I book a hotel room in order to have somewhere to sleep, this hotel failed on the basic requirement

The hotel is located around many different bars (didn't hear any noise at night, might have been a slow night). To get to the hotel we had to walk a couple of blocks, it isn't located on a street for our taxi to stop in front of. There is no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. However it's surroundings (shops, restaurants, beautiful ruin buildings, etc.) and environment is the prefect place to visit and experience denmarks beauty.

Very nice staff, but this hotel is in an unbearably noisy neighborhood. Front desk offered earplugs, but they made my ears hurt and didn't begin to block the noise - even with the window shut and the curtains drawn. Bars in the area close at 4 am. Got about 2 house of sleep. Would NEVER stay there again.

A fairly new and pleasant hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Very central. Very small room. Steep stairs up into hotel from street (stair lift available). No vehicle access to hotel entrance, so be prepared for a short walk from taxi/bus. Some late night noise, intensity depends on room location. I would stay there again.
