Dumbest part about this hotel was that I couldn’t even enter the place and sit/relax on a couch before 3 pm. I arrived in the morning and came to the hotel hours earlier than check in time thinking I could at least go sit inside the couch, use the bathroom, leave my luggages and go explore the area. The lady opened exactly at 3 pm. They have the notice up on the door, you can’t enter between 12-3 pm without an access code. Lady was nice though and check in was fast. Didn’t like that we had a curfew of 11 pm. The floor was dirty when I went. The bathroom is small and coming apart in some places. There is no air conditioning/the thermostat didn’t seem to work. I had the window open the first day but then I got mosquito bites, which kept me awake all night. I wish the window came with mesh net! No soap in the kitchen sink but otherwise it was fully furnished. No duvet or top sheet. They had a tv but wish it was a smart tv. Honestly it was too expensive and I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. Only stayed cuz of the proximity to Nice-Ville station. Alsace-Lorraine is also within walking distance. I would recommend staying closer to the city centre.

Good choice of budget studio apartment
I'd forgotten what I'd booked and was pleasantly surprised to find it was relatively large. For the same money I could have had a tiny room in old town. Older style converted building. We had 5 windows on 2 sides of the building, usable balcony, slightly too small twin room and small but practical kitchen/dining room. Kitchen had everything needed. On a main road, but no problems with traffic noise. Aircon virtually silent, although in late May, I only tried it once and wondered why I was cold! 3 minute walk to the main underground tramline that runs between the airport and the marina in old town. 10min walk to the main railway station to catch trains to Cannes and Monaco. Easy walking distance to town. Lidl nearby, plus other super markets. Even one 2 doors away, with 95% of everything we needed. Plenty of restaurants nearby, Italian, French and majority of Asian. Reasonable check in times and good Comms to confirm eta. Good check out time of 12 noon. I think we were meant to empty our bins at the end of our stay, which I did, but thought was a bit much. Location is everything and I'd happily stay at this hotel again or in this area. The cheap efficient tram means it's worth looking beyond old town and what more you get for the price. ps if you want a sandy beach, Nice has pebble beaches, so isn't for you. Try a short train ride to Cannes for the day. Don't bother with Monaco, it's souless.

Do not book here. I was arriving after reception hours and was told i’d receive check in instructions in my email, which i did not. I called 4 times the day i was arriving to let them know that they didn’t send me what i needed. But No answer. i arrived at 1am, couldnt get in and was on the street with my luggage. Oh also the hotel is a complete catfish. It’s gross, and when i FINALLY got in my room, i had no towels and there was half dranken soda bottles on the counter. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SKETCH PLACE!!!

We loved our stay at the Odalys in Nice. It was so nice to have a well equipped kitchen and dining area. The location is a little distant for Old Nice and the promenade but we loved walking through the streets, finding different routes to get to where we wanted to be. The hotel is excellently located for bus, rail and tram connections, and we took advantage of all of these to get off the beaten track. My only slight negative is that the street outside is noisy. The amenity workers do a fantastic job but they do it early in the morning. That said, the apartments have excellent windows and A/C. We liked to sleep with our windows open and actually enjoyed listening to Nice waking up each day.

Perfect location walkable to everthing: the water, Promenade, tram, train and buses. Grocery store next door, taxi stand acroos the street. The apartment had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Anything we didn't have, we bought at the store nearby. The clerks at the desk spoke English well and helped us navigate our day trips. Emir and Andrea were happy, personable and helpful everyday!

Light and airy apartment. Excellent value.
Perfect location and excellent value. The apartment was light and airy, comfortable and pleasant to be in. The cooking facilities were sufficient to allow for simple cooking and there was even a dishwasher. We enjoyed our stay here and had chosen Odalys having stayed, a few years ago, in their Nimes aparthotel, which is also excellent. Would book again if we return to Nice

Escaping a dull, wet January
Very good location - only a few minutes walk from the tram station that links to the airport - about 10 minutes walk to Promenade des Anglais - about 15 minutes walk to the main train station - a good restaurant and a great bakery across the road - a convenient small supermarket next door. Apartment had a bedroom, lounge/kitchenette & bathroom - enough room for 2 people (there was a sofa bed in the lounge but I think it would have been too small a space for 4 people.) I would stay there again.

Very pleasantly surprised with our room. Had a mezzanine so bedroom bathroom upstairs. Lovely clean sheets and plenty of towels changed every day. Reception staff very helpful and nice! We have stayed in Nice many times before and not been happy with accommodation this was the exception.10min walk to train station 5mins to new metro line And 15mins to old town.

Location of the property was great and staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Our room however was unsatisfactory. Firstly, the place was not clean. We found a nail and moreover there was a bit of glass on the floor. Secondly, the room looked nothing like the pictures portrayed online, instead it was dark, dingy and the bathroom was bizarre with the shower going into the toilet. Furthermore, we requested a double bed and instead got 2 singles, not a big deal but when we asked about this we were told the property was already overbooked and this was all they could give us.

Good amenities for families!
Great for families! We had everything we need to cook meals. The location is excellent, a short walk from the train station and La Promenade des Anglais. The only thing that needed improvement was the cleanliness of the bath area. The staff is friendly!

Post uni trip.
Mum and daughter end of 1st yr uni trip! Neither been to France before. Studio apartment . Good shower & comfy beds, always a useful way to measure a place. Local supermarket next door, good restaurant across the road. 700m stroll to the fabulous promenade. €4 train to Monaco just up the road. Red open top tourist bus even closer(buy tickets form the driver) . wifi ok, had to sign in every other day. TV only French, but Netflix plays via the wifi. Very helpful front desk team. Didn't use the breakfast option. Duolingo app good prep if you don't already speak French. Fixed rate taxi fee from the airport, if you arrive after buses stop, €32. Loved our first visit to Nice. Front desk printed our last minute purchase of World Cup tickets.

Was disappointed that despite booking in December, I received a message saying that they had just received my booking - the day before I was due to arrive (6 months later, in June) and that they were full. Admittedly they offered to put me up in another nearby hotel. And in the end, thanks to a cancellation, I was able to stay in the original hotel. Despite the initial problem, I have to say that the hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful. The room had everything I needed. The location is very good. Just a short walk in one direction to the railway station or a short walk in the other direction to the beach

They do not provide room cleaning. So we asked for new fresh towels at least and they stated no. we stayed for 5 nights and they would not ever give us fresh towels. We used the same towels the entire time. disgusting. The front desk person was always busy so when we needed something or questions we would wait always 5-12 minutes for help. Their phone service was more important to them rather then the face to face contact with people who already paid to stay there. Terrrible wifi

Situated in a very convenient location for buses and train Station. The breakfast for 8euros we thought was very good value all fresh bread etc and a very clean breakfast room. We had a good sized room looking out to the main road in the front of the building. We had 2 days of heavy rain and found that the heated towel rail was great for drying off our clothes. Bed comfortable bathroom good, bath and shower - hand held no shower curtain but adequate.Lift to all floors and reception desk staff very helpful, bags can be left after checkout in a locked room. Very good value for money

Nice stay in Nice
This is an apart hotel. Close to Nice Ville train station, and beach. Service is outstanding. Fix any problems right away. Room is OK. We were out most of the day, Nice is a very nice city. very easy to take train of buses to any other city in French Riviera.

Good neighborhood and close to beach
Local shops very close. Beach is 15 min walk. Tram to old center of town 15 walk. Staff helpful with questions. Only warning is difficult to shower without making a mess since no door or curtains. And must be able to climb steep, but short flight of stairs if staying in 1 bedroom.

We had a pleasant 5 nights stay here in mid Sep 2017. Very good value for the money. Professional and friendly staff. Limited housekeeping, as normal for an apart hotel. Good food around, at big or small stores/restaurants. Well appointed kitchenette. Close to the main rail station, very good for day trips on the coast. 10 min walk to the Promenade des anglais.

This was one of the best hotels in this category (apart hotel) that I have stayed at. Very clean and modern room. Kitchenette with plates, utensils, pots, pans. My 1st floor room was a bit noisy on the living room side, but the bedroom faced the parking and was OK. (I didn't mind the noise just FYI) Internet reception in my room (1st floor) was very good. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is on the bus line. There are supermarkets, and cafes close by. It is a bit of a walk, or a few bus stops from the beach, and old town.

Oversold in Nice.
We arrived late at the hotel after front desk was closed. After calling the after hours phone number we were able to follow instructions to open the gate for the car and get the keys for the room. We travel a lot and this was the first time I can say the pictures of the rooms were a bit misleading. We were not expecting to be in the top floor attic room with stairs, other rooms are single floor. The exterior of the hotel is fine but once inside the rooms the dated furniture and smell from restrooms are not pleasant. We were glad to have patio doors that opened to the fresh air. However, we could leave them open all the time since they was a lot of noise from the street below. A/C was tricky. Upstairs room has seperate unit that was super cold, and downstairs we could never figure out if it was working or not. We were glad it was not a heat wave when we visit. The location looks sketching at night but during the day it is a nice area. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and promenade. We were only there for two days, but were glad to leave. The only reason we chose this place was for the kitchen and seemed liked a good value, but would not recommend. I did like the fact that the hotel had a private parking lot and free wifi.

The hotel had a very informative staff.
The hotel was located in a very good place, conveniently near the main train station. Also near a great pastry shop. The laundry machines downstairs are free and very useful.

Great location and staff
I recommend this hotel, especially if you are coming with a family. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to the promenade. There's a well stocked, small supermarket next door (not convenience store) with fresh fruits, but you can find bigger supermarkets in a few minutes. There are good bakeries in all directions. There is a nice restaurant that is reasonably priced across the street. The hotel staff is really friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and helped us with a few things. We had an apartment on the top floor. It faced the street but we did not hear noise from the street. You can walk on the balcony. The kitchen is well equipped and everything worked without an issue. The sofa opened up to a double bed and upstairs was another bed and shower. The internet worked quite well. Overall we were happy and would stay there again.

staff was very friendly, room was extremely quiet, i never heard a sound from any other guests my entire stay. however, the hotel had a parking lot, but did not offer parking up front at check in. not realizing the lot next to their building was kept by the hotel, i left my rental car parked on the street & it was broken into. no phone in my room. wifi was restricted, couldn't use wifi calling or texting on my smartphone. annoying.

Nice hotel, central location
We arrived (very tired) 4 hours before check in time and was greeted by friendly welcoming staff who offered us an alternative room as ours wasn't ready yet. The alternative room was amazing and certainly more than we had paid for. In terms of comfort and convenience this made our overall trip to Nice wonderful. The room was cleaned and replenished daily to a good standard and the staff were unfalteringly polite and welcoming all week. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay there again.

All the staff were very helpful, understanding and professional. The apartment while small and clean is in need for re-modeling to be competitive. When travelling with medium size suitcases there is little room to use them as there is no furniture, draws etc for clothes. Space is limited but fairly typical for this type of building in Europe.

The accommodation was budget, adequate and near to the main train station. 30 - 40 minute walk to old town but straight down Boulevard Gambetta to beach in 15 minutes. I say beach but I've seen more inviting quarries.

The two members of staff on duty, apologies for not remembering your names, were superb. Extremely helpful and courteous, I cannot praise them enough. The room was excellent value for money and the Brasserie just across the road was excellent with very friendly staff.
