This is my second stay at this motel. My room was cozy and the setup is good for one person or a couple. It was quiet and parking was easy. The staff was again friendly and the outside of the property is neat. My only complaint is the mattress is hard as a rock. There is no box spring, just a mattress. I think this is standard for Motel 6. Something they should reconsider. Even folks trying to stay somewhere on a budget need a comfortable, restful sleep.

Disregard for maintenance - flashing bathroom light, needed to be changed.
Sink faucet sprayed water, got wet every time you turned it on... condition of sink, very old.
Simple maintenance issues that could or should've been reported, how could housekeeping not notice the issues.
The room was supposed to be non-smoking and reeked of cigarette smoke. Sinus headache all night.
disappointing and didn't meet the reviews we read prior to booking this room.

There is road construction on I-95 so it was a little noisy in the morning if you wanted to sleep in. There was no door hanger to request service on the room. We wound up taking trash to the can outside the office and getting replacement bags at the desk. No question of why I needed bags might have given a heads up that the room wasn't being serviced.

Our heating unit sounded like a helicopter after awhile. It was late and we weren’t going to deal with changing rooms at 12:30 am. The bathroom needs some TLC. The tub has definitely seen better days. The vanity top had been painted at some point and is peeling. The bed was also well. I also couldn’t pull my reservation off of Expedia and panicked Friday night until I confirmed that I had a reservation for Saturday night.

Good rate and easy in/out. I knew I wasn’t paying for a 5 Star stay. But…the bedspread had a large stain on it and the pillows were awful. The bathroom was clean and shower was fine. No mini fridge or microwave. All in all…just okay.

Clean and Cheap, near Conn College and CGA
This our third time staying at this Motel 6. The proximity to the Coast Guard Academy and Connecticut College makes this a great choice. The rooms are clean, but it is a no-frill experience. You get a bed with sheets (big room) and a towel. It is cheap and serves its purpose. There is also a Starbucks very nearby. We book here when we know we are getting in late and only need to sleep one night and go. For the price, it serves its purpose.

Everything was fine. Keep in mind, depending on the room you could not have a mini fridge and microwave. I had those in my room. Also, you can stay for 28 days at a time and then you have to leave for a day. The only thing that made this not get 5 stars is during my whole stay in that room for 2 weeks, I had to deal with killing 1 roach. Besides that, everything was fine & it was a quiet experience!

Hotel is dated, but cheap. Across the street is sleep inn which is much nicer, same area, seems safe, but cost more, includes pool, breakfast etc

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Unsanitary. Non smoking room smelled like smoke and the comforter had cigarette burns. I was just generally disgusted.

Didn't get queen room I reserved. Ended up with a room with 2 double beds. People live there. Working on vehicles in the parking lot pets in the windows. Sad. Dirty and unsatisfied. Was there for Fridayand Saturday for a wedding.glad I brought flip flops didn't want to go barefoot in the room. Trying to be thrifty did not pay. It was what it was but yes live and learn. Upgrade to a better chain next time. You get what you pay for!
