We were very happy with everything .The unit was warm and comfortable. The double glazing is wonderful ,so quiet although there is a busy road close by.Paul is very nice and the place is well run.There was not a thing we did not like.

Management were great!
Samdy was so nice and friendly! So welcoming after a busy day! The bathrooms have had some upgrades which was good. The heatpumps arent strong enough to warm up the room in a hurry. I would stay again.

It is fairly basic but comfortable. The bed was great. Just a bit disappointing to have booked onlune and they had not left the keys out for me at the unstaffed reception. No one there to assist. A phone number was left and it was fairly quickly rectified but not the best start.

Hi Marni, Thanks for the review. Most motels are family run and as such we occassionally have to leave to do something, so we try to do our best to leave things in place for the check-ins. I had to leave to go get my daughter and didn't leave a key in an envelope for you, but left the keys for check ins and the telephone number to call, which you did, I said which key to take, which you did and all was well...I thought. So I had left the key out for you right? Anyway, I hope you enjoyed your stay in New Plymouth. Thanks Paul

We were greeted by cheerily on arrival and the stay was great. The room we stayed in was clean and pleasant and was serviced daily in a professional manner. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are very pleasant. Loved our stay.

A pleasant stay
Location was very good, 15 minute walk along the river to the beach. Nice & quiet, hosts friendly & helpful. There were two areas we felt could improve our pleasant stay a little more was a table & chairs to eat our meal (the one outside were fixed together & OK for a drink) also larger pans for cooking.
