"My husband and I came for a brief visit, so I could perform in the Gold Country World Dance Showcase. I chose the place for the low price and because it was close to the venue where I performed. I found the office to be very quaint, and was surprised by how many buildings the motel has, including a fine restaurant. Despite being just off the highway, it was fairly quiet, and no outside noise was heard when we were in the room."

"We stayed at a quiet and beautiful place with very friendly staff who prepared a nice breakfast. Whenever some items ran out, they promptly cooked more. It was our first time interacting with the staff, and the experience felt entirely different from staying at a big hotel. Even though the room didn't have a TV, we still liked it very much. Since it's not far from Lake Tahoe, we plan to stay here again during the ski season. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of meeting a group of elderly people from Reno and the Bay Area who regularly meet at this lodge every year, with their next gathering scheduled for this August.
