“Natural Bridge”

GPS tried to take you in the exit. Motel was interesting and was what I expected. Excellent southern hospitality. Local attractions where very nice.

“Not impressed for the type of hotel supposedly advertised”

Bathroom did not have sufficient towels, wash clothes, toiletries for two people. Toilet seat almost falling off. No response to notification of situations. Room to cold, temperature set at 55degrees. Initial calls to reservations desk took two days to respond. Hotel does not have economic status of country in mind for prices. Too expensive for what you get. $30 for two sandwiches and a drink. Please!! For cost of room should always have reservations for dinner for guests, and all others exceptions. They did not play for the guests. Not worth price. Stayed at others cost less and got more. Coffee cold when served. In plain words was very disappointed in hotel. Natural Bridge beautiful. All other services very below par .

Area recommendations
Lexington, as this is a place designed for vacationers. Natural Bridge itself breathtaking, and awesome.

Make sure you have inside scoop on dining and available eateries away from hotel.
Family-friendly activities
I will say in defense of the hotel, the hostess and bar maids, were very friendly, and did their best to make you comfortable, and your dining experience pleasureable. Feel other parts of hotel could take lessons from these folks.
Nightlife
Need something to do during the night. After seeing Natural Bridge, nothing else to do except watch tv. How boring.
Events and shows
The only events were at Natural Bridge. Lexington had other events not noted. Did not know til we went to see for ourselves. Hotel representatives not aware of what is going on around town. Got the impression they wanted all the money for themselves. Was not directed to other areas for events!
Other
Be sure to see rooms before accepting. Ours was somewhat clean, but needed toiletries, and required amount of towels, wash clothes. And when notifying desk of descrepancies, they did not take action to rectify. Noted, and finally, they should ensure safety of guests, as elevator was down, and was down subsequent to the Drama show at Natural Bridge. All persons had to use stairs. Some folks were unable to use stairs due to physical disabilities. Not alternatives.

“Very good time!”

We enjoyed our stay at the Natural Bridge Hotel. We went to the Natural Bridge in the evening to view the light show and we wanted to stay close by. The hotel was the perfect choice for that. We had supper in the hotel at the Red Fox Tavern and enjoyed our meal and the service was great.

Area recommendations
I would definately recommend seeing the Natural Bridge. This was our second time to see it. This time we wanted to take in the night time light show and it was awesome.

“the location can not be beat”

The location of this hotel is exceptional. It is across the street from the Natural Bridge, which is incredibly beautiful. There is a short tunnel under the street, so it is real easy to get from the hotel to the entrance to the Bridge. The hotel staff was somewhat short staffed, so there was quite a bit of waiting to check out and get into the room. The room was basic, but the price was right. The location in the mountains more than made up for the basic character of the room and the constant waiting.
