“Riu Palace - Thumbs up”

All in all it was a great place. The employees were helpful and respectful. We were especially impressed with the steak restaurant. It was excellent. The only complaints were the ice machine on the 9th floor did not work so we had to go to the 7th floor for ice and the tv did not have text when muted. Also, to reserve seats in the restaurants you had to wait on line between 8am and 9am. You can reserve for 2 nights in a row. Also, you can't go to your room upon check-in until 3pm. They should inform guests in advance. The room was clean, the food was good, the employees were pleasant. Good value. We would go back.

“Great Value...”

My wife and I went with another couple and had a great time. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and the resort was very clean. We had NO problems and only had a great time. Would definitely go again and I am a very picky person. We have been to many islands and many different hotels and this place is great for the price. There is no comparison to the Atlantis, but the cost effectiveness makes it a no contest. Stay at the Riu and visit the Atlantis.

“Great Honeymoon destination”

Just got back from a great Honeymoon. Room was very clean as the housekeeper worked her butt off all day on our floor. We had a great view of the ocean and the pool. Food was good everywhere except the Sir Alexander. The dinner buffet was good and even had lobster our last night. Bar staff was great and mixed great drinks. Enjoyed being just a few steps away from Atlantis and being able to enjoy their cool, but very expensive amenities. The only downfalls were the spring break crowd (a given this time of the year and not a fault of the resort) and the locals on the beach selling beads, wraps, hair-braiding, jet ski rides, parasailing, cuban cigars....

“RIU Paradise Resort ROCKS!!!”

My sister and I had a wonderful time. We decided to stay at the RIU instead of the Atlantis due to cost. Although we were able to enjoy the evening life at the Atlantis Hotel which is right next door!...big plus. The room we stayed in at the RIU was clean and always had clean towels. Buffet selection was great. Drinks were STRONG! which is a plus for an all-inclusive, so beware when you order "the hangover" ;-) Beach was amazing and clean. The only con was guests had to rent beach umbrellas for $25 USD. Which I feel should be included in an "all-inclusive" hotel... other than that I would definitely go back again. p.s. resort is kid and family friendly.

“Good combo”

Food was very good. Endless, good drinks. Very nice staff. Entertainment not so great, but you can go to the Atlantis right next door. Average pool, but you have a great beach. Overall, we would definitely go again. Stay here & get the free food & booze, & just buy the day passes to the Atlantis. Average dinner over there is $52/ person. Just combine them, & you have the perfect resort!

“We will return to the Riu!!!”

I read reviews for every All-Inclusive hotel on Paradise Island and this one came back with the best. Everything was exactly as I expected. The room was clean and updated. The staff at the hotel were all extremely friendly and very helpful. Everyone greeted you with a smile and asked you how you were enjoying your stay. The drinks at the bar were excellent and no one expected a tip. Everytime my husband put a tip up there, it would sit there forever before anyone would take it. There were no tip jars so no expectations. The food was very good. There were a few times I felt it could have been a little hotter but overall I would give it a 4 out of 5. The hotel is very close to the Atlantis for those who wish to gamble. We definitely got our money's worth and will definitely return to the Bahamas and stay at this same hotel. Loved the island and people. They couldn't have been more friendly.

“Best service I've ever had”

I was completely satisfied with my vacation. From checking in, to the best diners I've had, completely open bars, night entertainment, friendliest service to having three beach at my footsteps.

“Best Deal for the money”

This hotel was the best deal for the money paid of any vacation package I have ever been on. This all inclusive package has to be experienced to be believed. Any one sitting on the fence in regards to picking this hotel for their vacation fear not. Every aspect of this hotel is superb, eat drink and be merry while you relax.

The hotel was So nice for a visit to the Bahamas. Everyone was friendly and service very efficient.
