The Hotel was doing renovations so the outside area was not accessible but there was a seating area in the main building with TV and dining upon request was available. The staff were very helpful and my original booking was upgraded to a larger room-nice! I would definitely rebook at this location.

The staff were very nice and caring. Judith and Moreen took care of us. They also helped us call for Taxi, which was safe to take us to the airport. They facilitated and cooked nice dinner and breakfast for us.

The night I arrived at the Zarita Boutique Hotel I was presented with a subpar room and not the Executive room which I had reserved. It had been a very long travel day. The manager tried to insist that this was the room in which i reserved. Since it was after 11:30pm the manager (Jeff) promised sort things out and to just stay in the room for the night. This was the class Bait and Switch tactic. The following morning the manager was no longer insisting that I had the correct room. Needless to say I was disappointed. Now I’m told that the Executive room was occupied by someone else however the person was out of the country and I could stay in the room. This was totally unprofessional. When I asked for a cancellation I was informed by the manager that it was to late to cancel nor get a refund. I was told I would be charged for duration of my 12 night stay. I moved my luggage and personal items into the Executive Room however I was not allowed use of the closets, drawers etc because the room in which I had reserved and paid for in full via Expedia was occupied!!!.. this was only the beginning of overwhelming challenges at the Zarita Boutique Hotel. No screens in the windows, no air conditioning, initially the toilet did NOT flush. To take a shower only Cold water was on unless you ran Outside the bathroom hit a switch which activated the hot water heater however by the you got back in the shower the was EXTREMELY HOT which required you to go back to turn the switch off.

Service was friendly. More like a hostel set up and rooms are extremely small. Great for just a quick rest before flying out. They do no have an airport shuttle assisted in amenities. They call a taxi that will cost you $10.

We had bad luck
Extremely difficult to find, but when you are finally here, the staff is friendly and helpful. If you are lucky, the place offers fantastic value, as it's reasonably comfortable for around 25 USD per night. Unfortunately for us, the price attracts scums, and we were quite annoyed by a drunk Russian guy. It should also be noted that the walls are extremely thin, so if you are unlucky and have bad neighbors, you wont get much sleep. Lastly, the mosquito net over our bed was full of holes, and did not cover all sides. Worst of all: it was raining during the night, and there was apparently a hole in the roof, so by around 03:00 water started dripping down into our bed, completely soaking it. Staff offered no compensation.
