A beautiful outdoor terrace to enjoy breakfast, cool indoor places for hanging out, and your own little deck overlooking Nafplio. The staff was super helpful and kind. The parking is a little tricky, but they clearly spell that out. There are quite a few stairs down to the heart of the town, but you're not in a hurry, right? We loved our stay.

Dear Joan, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It was a pleasure hosting you and we hope to see you again. Best regards, Amfitriti Palazzo Staff
The staff, room, terrace, balcony and breakfast were great! We were in the middle of a 3 week trip to Greece, with heavy bags, and it was a challenge to navigate down the hill and status safely (we’re in our mid 60s/early 70s). There were even more steeper steps down to the old city). Property is well kept, just beware

Dear Mr. Doug, thank you for taking the time to write a review. It was a pleasure hosting you. We appreciate that you noted any problems that you had. Best regards, Amfitriti Palazzo Staff.
This property was close to the square. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great. Although the reviews say there is confusion about parking, we found it easy enough. Also, please note that at least there is parking. Many of the hotels do not have designated parking and we saw many people having to park a long ways from their hotel and gaving to carry their luggage theough the town. We did. It have to do this. Some of the reviews complain about the steps. Nafplio, like most places in Greece, has lots of steps. Walking up and down steps to get to and from the hotel is not uncommon. I would definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it.

Dear Geraldine your comment is exactly what we try to explain to every guest but some people do not want to understand! Old cities have got steps and private parking is unthinkable! we are lucky to be near a public place where guests can leave their car and walk 2 minutes to us! we are so happy you present that from your side ! hope to see you again !
The hotel is lovely, high enough up the hill to have a lovely view of the rooftops. Breakfast was very good.
My only complaint is that Expedia is a terrible way to book and I won’t ever use this site again. Another hotel- not this one- I booked on Expedia apparently doesn’t work with them, but they went ahead and sent me a confirmation anyway. This led to a very difficult aura where we needed to find a new hotel at the last minute. Expedia would not let me write a review to warn other travelers and the Expedia site is still taking reservations for that hotel!
Overall, book Hotel Amfitriti Palazzo, but not through Expedia!

I have a mobility impairment and it was not adequately explained to me in advance how hard it is to reach this property on foot while carrying several pieces of luggage. Not only is there no direct car access to the property, but one needs to go up and down several flights of slippery steps to get downtown from the property, which is located on the very top of the hill overlooking the city. Although the views are excellent, I would have gladly settled for no view at all and avoided the hassle and aggravation associated with accessing the property.

dear guest how mean by your side to assault every day of your stay on our staff about the access !!! we are not supposed to know the issues of each guest before they arrive!!!we had sent sent you a video and directions how to reach us before you come , so if that did not suit you , you should never have booked here !!! besides , there are several reviews about that , don't you ever read them since you have health problems?who should care about you , if you don't care about yourself ? besides , there is no car accessibility because this is a historical city , protecting the monuments , is it the first time you are visiting old cities? the owner
Place has a wonderful view.
We got a spent covid test in our room. The reception staff is friendly but doesn’t help much. I have seen the term boutique hotel used in various ways - here it is an eclectic colorful furniture assembly in a building that construction had maximized for number of rooms to sell.

The building is great with nice accommodations and fantastic views of Nafplio. The parking is a challenge and Google maps gets you stuck in a very small alley. Once you park in the public parking on the hill it is a challenging walk down the hill with luggage.

This is an adorable little hotel. The room was tiny but had a great balcony that we enjoyed late into the evening overlooking the city. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was friendly. The only issue we had was finding the place! Google maps will get you close, but it is tricky to figure out that you have to park in a public area above the hotel and come down a narrow path through the old city wall to the hotel.

Mrs Kara,
Thank you so much for your kind words,
Rewarding us with your review helps us keep trying to enhance your staying experience and improve everything.
Looking forwards to host you again.
This hotel was wonderful and we had a great balcony overlooking the town and water. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The room was very spacious and even had a little table for us to sit at. The parking is unusual, but worked fine for us. You have to park on the road above the hotel and then walk down with your bags. If you do not drive, you will be walking up about 75 steps from the town with your bags! We did get lots of exercise during the two days we were there with all the up and down the steps!

it would be good to know what your complaints were
Nice place to stay for one or two days. Location is good. It’s just a bit “funny” to get in with the luggage but it’s what you may expect in an old town.
Very nice staff
A great facility lodged high above the city though just a short walk downhill to the pleasant town. Room was complete with all the modern amenities: air conditioning and fridge. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location, spacious room, and lovely views of the harbor from the patio and breakfast area. Easy few block walk to restaurants and shopping in town.
Parking is off-site and luggage needs to be carried down a path, but this is not far and the parking is safe and easy to find.

Hard to find and a lot of stairs. It was well worth the effort. We could walk to everything once we were there and everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend it.
Very helpful staff. They gave us maps and recommendations upon check in. Hotel is nice and walkable to all of Nafplio. Lots of stairs so just be aware for anyone who has an issue. Wonderful hotel and would happily stay again.Views from our room were amazing.
difficult to find and to park. if you're only staying for 2 nights don't bother you'll spend half the time looking for it. napflion is not that charming. it's like so many ancient walled cities and not even as nice as most of them. i have no idea why the greeks rave about it. perhaps it's their only one? not worth it folks; you'll be in cafes with unfriendly french tourists and looking at people looking back at you.

dear guest , if you need 1 day searching for a place then you had better follow the instructions we had sent you on how to get here or even better given the advanced technology use a Gps , so you would need just 2 minutes and not a whole day to find us.
In order to enjoy a café , you need to know where to go , but as a tourist you went to a touristic place so absolutely normal to see tourists there. Nafplio is a historic place and its value is of great importance both to the locals and visitors.
pity that you didn't know what to do or how to explore the city...
We spent three lovely days at this hotel and for the view from its balcony alone it was just perfect! We were communicated with more than once by the hotel to give us very detailed instructions on how to find the hotel (easier from above than below), which were very useful given it is in the old town of many streets. Our room was cool, clean and chic. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The receptionist helped us orientate ourselves and gave us great restaurant recommendations. It was a very hassle-free and enjoyable stay!
This hotel would not work with me on changing my date. They had availability on the day I wanted to change to, but they simply were not flexible and do not care if they provide good customer service. I would not stay here, as their reservation woman was very rude and unwillingly to assist. Repeat customers are simply not a priority for them. I have seen this hotel, and it is dated and in a remote hilltop, not the best location in Nafplio. Book somewhere else.

it would be preferable if you stated that you wanted to change non refundable reservations , which means no changes.Despite that, we changed it for once and then no changes could be mede in the high season of July.Besides, you cannot comment on a location if you haven't visited it , so you are not able to advise othe guests about that. Our customer service by the way has high evaluation , so they are not rude at all...
Beautiful views overlooking the city and the sea, but very difficult to find. They definitely need to send instructions with your booking. GPS was not correct, and sent us walking down a very narrow street that is actually way below the property. But back to our stay! Beautiful property, views, warm and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable, and Breakfast was lovely! We would stay here again.
Amazing Hospitality with very possitive people. Very clean and exellent rooms with the perfect location (I need to add it again : Rooms are PERFECT) breakfast is also very good. Deffinently people that want to travel to Nafplio have to book this propety.
Lovely boutique hotel with great views of the city! Very friendly and accommodating staff. Might be a tough place to stay if you have trouble with your knees as it’s a climb down or up to get there. Highly recommend otherwise!
Great views of the city from all rooms... even the first floor ones. Very well maintained interior with stylish decor. Breakfast was very good and terrace was beautiful! Internet access was very reliable and fast. Only downside was access to the hotel. It requires a number of steep steps and isn’t a good option for anyone with mobility issues.
Fantastic view, incredible service and very good breakfast. Sakis gave us some recommendations and all of them were worthy. There is a free car park just behind.

Thank you for your good words. It was our pleasure having you as our guests.
We stayed here for 3 nights during a cold patch in January. The hotel was lovely and warm, the staff welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The steps to the hotel were a good way to work of all the lovely food in Napflio. Its a good location, it would be hard to find but Sakis sent us a video and we managed to find it easily. There are some old dodgy looking derelict flats covered in graffiti next to the car park we were a bit worried but the car was fine and we never encountered any problems. I would recommend the hotel definitely. The location is great for the square and old town.

Lovely hotel with great sea view and great location. Excellent services from reception.
As it located at upslope, need to walk a couple of steps before reaches the hotel.
Difficult to locate even though we had down loaded the maps. A long drag with cases. Go light if staying. The hotel and room had a great view over the town.

dear guest,
thank you for the time to leave feedback for us, though we would kindly like to remind you that before you book a room , you are totally informed about the situation of a hotel , so it seems somehow unreasonable to consider that negative. To add, you are given precise directions before you come, which makes access and parking easy.
