Staff was pleasant. Breakfast was good. Hotel was in close proximity to Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport Museum. Hotel was many years overdue for a “deep clean” and update (1970’s). Hallways were unheated, pool small.

A clean, comfortable room for the night. Friendly, helpful staff. Bonus: the hotel keeps a rack of books and magazines near the front desk, from which customers may take or donate something to read. Great idea! I wish more hotels did this. I borrowed a very good book for the night.

It was very noisy. There were lots of families. Walls and floors must be thin.We could hear sounds of people from other rooms, that made it difficult to sleep.

Everything was great except the dogs, just if you don’t have dogs wanna spend little extra money it’s worth it to not stay here, we had dogs next to us both nights first night barked and whined all night, woke up at 4-5 in the morning to the dog barking again went down to the desk to let them know it’s been barking all day and night, next night people across from us left there dog and whined all night and morning as well, if you gonna bring your dogs should be dogs that are well trained and maybe don’t leave your dog unattended it can’t stay under control, other then that it was great but if you don’t have a dog I don’t recommend staying here

Seemed pretty basic for the price we paid for the room. Nothing really to complain about but nothing to highlight either. The room was on the smaller side and the TV was pretty old and small.

Visiting family for tye weekend. Loved the hot chocolate bar with the St Patricks Day theme! Great for the kids. Love that the pool had toys for kids to play with. Great hotel for families! Although the downside of all the happy kids, is it can be a little loud.

Pros: Great location, the breakfast bar was fantastic, the room was clean Cons: The shower was weird (low shower head, super high tub, hard to get in and out of), you can hear everything happening in the hallway and there were several families with kids who were running up and down the hall

Property was well maintained, pool was clean, rooms were clean and adequate. Staff were friendly and respectful. Only issues were a bit expensive and not as much breakfast as I would have expected and they needed an extra waffle maker.

Very enjoyable stay, with very friendly accommodating staff, clean, nice size rooms & dining area, & very nice indoor pool.The place was decorated so pretty for Valentine’s Day & nice choices for breakfast. The only thing I would add is, since it was Feb & quite cold out, we would have enjoyed the pool a little more if the water was warmer, it was a bit chilly. I would certainly recommend the Hampton Inn & suites in Mystic Ct.

The gentleman behind the front desk by far exceeded every expectation that possibly could have been met I walked in with pizzas and then came back downstairs and he had the plates that I was going to ask for in his hand ready for me as if he knew I was coming. I have to admit that was pretty awesome. I want to say thank you to the whole staff, but they went above and beyond excellent people

The bed was uncomfortable - room was dirty - I would have packed up instead of staying but we are from out of town and had no choice to stay and drive up in the morning . Staff was great but the ambience of the rooms was subpar. Felt like a motel rather than a hotel.

This property was safe, quiet and clean. We were able to check in early which made our day so much easier. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They even had a complimentary hot cocoa bar set up which was so cute!

Birthday weekend
My girlfriends and I had a great time! I was celebrating my birthday and the hotel was a great choice. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable! I was excited to see that there was a refrigerator and microwave in our room! The staff was friendly and welcoming!

The overall stay was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. I enjoyed the Lobby/Eating Area where they had a fire place and 24/7 Coffee and hot chocolate. It was a nice place to sit and relax outside of your room.
