Good experience. Only issue we had was there were a lot of kids running around late at night. Super clean room.

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. It's an extended stay hotel so there was also the smell of fried food in the air. Dirty and worn furniture and floors.

It's gone down hill

Posted 01-Dec-2014
There was an awful smell from the entrance that seemed to emanate throughout. When we got off the elevator, there was dirty sheets stacked in the corner of the hallway. Our room said "no smoking" but it reeked of smoke, and other bodily fumes. It was reserved for 4 people, but there was only two towels. No soap to use in the bathroom, no shampoo for our hair. AND HERE'S the best part. The front desk had my reservation printed off, but she couldn't find me in the computer. My other friend had to charge the room to her credit card and I was reassured, several times that my credit card would not be charged. As I am receiving this questionnaire, it must have been charged. What a mess!

Great room for a great price....

Posted 09-Nov-2014
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable. Quiet, about a half mile away from the highway where all the other hotels are which can be loud
We had a room with double beds, stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, sitting area and free wifi. Small laundromat on site. Really a great price and close to everything.

Last Time

Posted 24-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
Have stayed here many times. This will be the last. (see Linda S's review). Someone else's underwear in the closet, candy and wrappers on the floor, bag of jewelry (maybe broken because it appeared to be mixed with trash) in the cabinet. Started check in at 6:30ish - not able to get into a room until 11ish. Offered a smoking room - rejected that - offered a much smaller room - ended up back in the first room after it was finally "cleaned". Carpet in front of the desk says "Clean and comfortable" (or something like that). The carpet itself was filthy. We were offered a $20.00 discount for all the trouble - upon checking out - the clerk didn't know what we were talking about. (Side bar: the clerk working check in was very pleasant and as helpful as she could be considering at one point she was the only one there - responsible for the desk and cleaning our room). Bottom line: We're breaking up with Crestwood Suites.

Gross

This is one of those extended stay places. People live there all the time and it is not clean. Had to go and buy cleaning supplies to clean our room. It had a terrible smell when we arrived. People was roaming around the parking lot all night.

Homecoming Horror

Posted 20-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here many times before. This past week-end will be my last time. We arrived about 6:30 p.m.- were told they were overbooked - only option a smoking room. It smelled like an ash tray. They'll clean a non-smoking room for us - give them 45 minutes. We go eat- call back 90 minutes later - not ready. Called back - still not ready. Call again and were told all was well. It wasn't. In the closet, we found someone else's underwear and shoes, two pairs of pants and a t-shirt, a bag that appeared to be either garbage or jewelry in the bathroom - candy & trash in the living room. We're offered another room - it's worse. We're told by the very sweet young lady at the front desk that she would clean the other room - she's the only one working at this point. Seriously. Literally. Only person working in the hotel. We left again. Called back - poor child hadn't been able to leave the front desk, but assured us she would asap). We go back to hotel - the items had been removed. I spray everything with Lysol and go to sleep. (round midnight when I finally got into the room). (At some point, the clerk called the manager who said she would give us $20.00 off our bill for our trouble.) At check-out, another clerk said she had no idea what we were talking about - couldn't call anybody. We hopt to we can express our disatisfaction to someone today - but I doubt it. Nothing good to say about the hotel (except for the first clerk). Positive note: MTSU won the homecoming game! :o)

I will not go back!

Pros: The grounds are well kept
Cons: Cleanliness, towels, provide maid service, outfit kitchenetts make sure everything operates and furniture is not broken. Use a pest service regularly.
Location: Shopping and restaruants
Our room needed a good scrub. All the upholstery and carpets were stained. We killed 2 cockroaches. The walls, moldings and doors all needed to be washed. Both of the chairs were broken and 2 out of the three lamps were missing the knobs that turn them on. The dresser was droken. There is no maid service at all. The towels were tissue thin. Guests have to go to the front desk and ask for clean towels and toilet paper. The kitchenette was not outfitted sufficently. There was 2 knives, 1 fork and no spoons. The front desk didn't have any spoons. There was 1 plate 2 mugs and no drinking glasses at all. The refrigerator was so noisey it kept us awake at night. Some guests stand outside the front door and smoke so when they come in and go directly into the elevator they leave a stong smell of smoke in the lobby, elevator and halls. There is construction going on right outside our room so we were awakened each day at 6:30am by construction noise.
