Crestwood Suites Murfreesboro TN

Posted 13-May-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: A good cleaning, new bedding, an attentive staff for starters.
We would never stay at Crestwood Suits again; if fact we would have cancelled the reservation immediately upon arrival if other motel accommodations were available in Murfreesboro. We were in Murfreesboro for the graduation of a grandson from Mid. TN State Univ. So were the families of 2000 -3000 other graduates, consequently no other accommodations were available. This was our first use of Expedia, we will never use Expedia again.

Terrible hotel in bad location.

Posted 01-May-2015
Pros: There wa nothing to like abaut this hotel
Cons: Since all of it is bad you should just take it off of your list.
Location: The location is bad and there is nothing to do around it
The hotel is more like a way house. Dirty, run down.

The first room we were put in was economy. It was small as expected. The tv didn't work properly, the floor was soaked by the air conditioner and there were stink bugs on the walls. We ended up switching rooms because of the tv. The second room was a double. It was much more spacious but there was a lamp shade missing, the bathtub faucet leaked all night, there was no toilet paper upon entering the room and there was a roach crawling on the wall. we also got woken up several times during the night because we could hear the people next to our room screaming at each other and their kid crying. I will never stay there again!

Worked well for us!

Posted 13-Apr-2015
Pros: Beds were so comfortable! Wi-Fi was fast and flawless. Near many shopping and eating venues.
Cons: Wish they'd had an ice machine, not just ice trays in the freezer.
Location: Plenty of choices for eating and shopping! Nashville is close.
I was cautious, but that turned out to not be an issue at all. This is not a fancy place to stay, but neither is the price tag. Clean room, VERY comfortable beds, plenty of space with efficiency kitchen. The Wi-Fi was important to us, as was security. Met our needs for the weekend, without the big price tag that others ask. Staff were as helpful as could be... Thanks for a nice stay!

Nightmare on Old Fort Pkwy

Posted 31-Mar-2015
Hallways reek. Kids running up and down the halls yelling, and fighting until 10:35 pm. A large group of guys hanging out below my window until 10:30 pm. I was in a nonsmoking room that smelled so strongly of stale smoke I had to wash everything in my bag, and air out the bag. I attended a 3 day continuing education course at the VA and all I could smell all day was the smoke stench on my clothes.

3 day stay

Room was good, didn't enjoy the smoking that was being allowed on the 3rd floor and the people coming in and out of the rooms and hanging out in the lobby at all hours of the day and night.

Unattentive and Rude

Posted 17-Feb-2015 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at this particular Crestwood a few times in the past with no problems; however, it was one after another this time. First, there were people standing around in the lobby and at the front door for HOURS (long-term guests, I am guessing) watching everyone as they came and went- one of them was even spread out with a meal in the lobby! Second, when I asked for towels, I was told they would bring them when the dryer finished (???) and they never showed. Third, checkout is 11am, but on Sunday morning at 8:15, I was woken by a call from the front desk confirming that I would be leaving and then at 8:45 I was woken again by the maid (the same one who forgot the towels on Saturday) knocking on the door because she wasn't sure if I was still there (Do Not Disturb tag was in place). Upon discovering I was still in my room, the forgetful, rude maid then had a lively 20 minute conversation right outside my door with a nonemployee about their respective weekends!! Before this trip, this was my go-to when staying in this area, but I will be looking at other places in the future.

Good experience. Only issue we had was there were a lot of kids running around late at night. Super clean room.

Last min. deal finds A+ room in humble surroundin

Posted 02-Jan-2015 on Hotels.com
Had to call at last minute when worn out from a long travel day from Colorado. A bit concerned with look and smell of the outside and lobby area, but greeted by a very good, professional clerk, with a pleasant smile. Elevator was functional, hallway dinghy and smelled of cigarette smoke, but great, clean and comfortable room and all things functioning well. Good nights sleep and we were on the road again.
