Rooms were not ready at check in time. Waited an hour for one room and the other wasn’t ready until after we came back from dinner. Staff was helpful and apologetic but too few to ready all the rooms. Ownership and management should review their plans.

I liked that the staff was nice and professional. There were a lot of stores and restaurants close by. The room was clean and they served a variety for breakfast. I would hope a gluten free option would be added in the future.

It appears that they are trying to refurbish the building. The carpets were new, and everything looked nice. The breakfast was excellent. But they must be short staffed, because it was not clean. They created the impression of cleanliness by hosing everything down with disinfectant, but that just made the room stink. I literally slept with a K95 mask so I wouldn't be kept awake by the smell. The tissue box was empty. The clock was set to the wrong time, and the tables in the breakfast area were not being wiped down between guests. Other than that, the staff was friendly. This was January 20, 2024

Average hotel at a good price
I was a little shocked about the rundown condition of the hotel after reading all of the great to excellent reviews on hotels.com. But it was clean, good and safe location and the service was good so it wasn't a problem. We would stay here again.

Family visit, hotel made it nice.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and located close to stores and restaurants if you need either. The room was comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. Nice hot shower and bath. Second day shower was later and didn’t have as good a stream from the shower head but still warm and felt good. Loved the grab bar in the shower! My wife is a bit clumsy and it helps to prevent any accidents. We were visiting family for the holiday, so we didn’t really use the pool or hot tub. The pool looked nice and several Families did use it during our stay. We used the gym which looked out on the pool area. Nice gym, two bikes, elliptical, treadmill, weights and a mat plus ball. The treadmill was out of service. The hot tub looked cloudy, not sure if the jets worked. Personnel were very nice from check in to housekeeping and kitchen staff. Breakfast was fine, the usual tasted good. Would stay again! The area felt safe.

The location was convenient for being out of town. The room itself had a horrible smell and simply looking at the sheets once the top cover was changed on the bed one would see the multiple stains, which was disgusting.

They turned away about 10 people at 3pm because they had no rooms available yet, they said due to housekeeping being short staffed. I was in town for a funeral and needed a room to change and get settled in before going to. I had to wait about 40 minutes to finally get a room. Other people were waiting longer. Never coming back here

We had double queen reserved. On arrival they had no double queen rooms left and changed us to a king bed. Tried to act like it was an upgrade. Hotel should not continue to sell same type rooms if you don’t have that many and then whoever comes last is out of luck and switched to king bed even though room was reserved as 2 queen beds and already purchased through hotels. Com. This is like airlines overselling seats for flights and then making people volunteer to not fly. Don’t oversell your rooms and screw people over

The front desk girl was sweet, I just assumed guests would have free wifi. I was charged $4.0 fot daily wifi. The room was dirty, stains on comforters, trash on both sides of each bed, not from me. Coffee pot shoved under a shelf, hard to find, no blow-dryer and the dusty, smell of mildew in room. To many other options in Munster to just make everything but the room was unpleasant. Cleaning staff were rude and unapproachable in the a.m.
