Great Hotel in a Munich Suburb
Really enjoyed this hotel in Haar. We were in Munch to stop by Oktoberfest and then to use as a base for day trips to the Bavarian Alps. Took a bit to walk to the train station and ride into Munich central, but the town of Haar was safe and cute! Once we rented a car, we found street parking near the hotel no problem (they do offer parking for a charge, but we opted for the free option). The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself was great. Room was small, sure, but it was modern and updated. WiFi wasn’t the best, but other than that, we were really happy with our stay’

Nice hotel and easy to find. Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. Great breakfast but the breakfast staff was unfortunately rude! Overall good stay!

Clean modern hotel
This is a modern hotel in Haar, a suburb of Munich. I was attending a conference at Messe München and it was very convenient for this. It took me about 30 minutes to get there using the efficient public transport system. It takes about 35 minutes to get into Munich city centre using the same transport system. For both venues you need to take a bus then a train. Buses are frequent at peak hours, every 10 minutes at other times and every 20 minutes late at night and Sundays. Breakfast was great but cost 12 Euro’s.

Decent hotel walking distance from Messen Munich
Stayed here when at confenrece and about 35 mins walk over mostly parkland. Close to bus stop for getting into town (30mins to centre). Breakfast pretty standard. Room comfortable and good bed.

Great restful place.

Nice but not quiet
Nice clean hotel. Unfortunately we got a room next to the staircase and people smashed the door all the time which was very loud. The location in general is very loud. The bathroom sink was more or less clogged but everything else was really good.

Reasonable hotel for Haar location
The hotel has everything what you need if your travel interest location is around Haar. Would recommend that. The small minus is that breakfast is needed to order sepparately, at least if you are booking the hotel via hotels.com

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff, basic double room was very spacious although pillows on bed were awful thin as anything. Underground car park was quite cheap at €6 a day although the ticket didn't work always when exiting the car park. For the price it is a great hotel, would return

Walking distance to the trains. Internet was spotty. They fit 3 beds in the room but there was little room for anything else and no privacy if you wished to take a shower.

This hotel was NOT good value for money- it should have offered free, fast, reliable internet and it didn't- you were allowed 30 minutes free internet a day, in the foyer- but it was so slow and the lobby was so cloying!!- and you got so frustrated with the internet it really made your stay so trying!!! One day, out of desperation I bought a bit of time over the net and the net was so fast I realized that they wanted you to buy it!! Tourists need the net to plan things- it really put a dampener on our whole trip- worst hotel we have been to. The staff were pleasant enough, but no free internet couldn't be overcome! The breakfast was overpriced, too- 11 euros!!! We had it a few times, but it was no better than much cheaper breakfasts that we had in other hotels-. The hotel was clean, but every time I think of our time there I just get down thinking about it!!! -plus it was too far from Munich- it took us 30 minutes to get into town- sometimes 20- and for the price the hotel charged they should have provided a jug and some tea bags, too. Pillows weren't comfortable, either.

We stayed for one night. The hotel is new and clean and provides a nice place to stay. We had three in our party and asked for a triple room. The triple room is a double room with a roll-away bed. The extra roll-away bed made things very cramped. The hotel is partially circular, so the rooms are narrower at one end. Our first complaint was that the air did not work. No fan, no air conditioning, and no heat. The room became rather stuffy with no air movement and warm. The staff gave a reason that the computerized system sensed that the temperature outside was fine and no air control was needed, so it disables the system(?) Our second complaint was the bathroom. It had no door. Only a sliding wall that covered one-half and left a large door-sized section wide open. With multiple mirrors on the walls, there was essentially no place to hide. If you are traveling with someone you are not intimate with, this could present a very awkward situation.

Hotel is clean. Staff were very cooperative and helpful. But the family rooms did not have proper doors for the shower. It was difficult for us to manage with kids sitting in the room and the shower area not having proper doors! That was a poor design!

Very well maintained
We had a great stay at Acomhotel. It was not very near to the center of the city, but once we figured out the transportation system, it wasn't difficult to get around. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go (including Oktoberfest) in 45 minutes or less. The hotel had a modern feel to it, which I liked.

If you have a car 4 stars all the way
It was a great first stop on our itinerary. The only requirement is a car. It's very far outside of Munich center. So you MUST have a car. Otherwise it was a perfect little hotel. Clean, neat organized and the staff was great. A couple of three blocks down the main street towards Munich is a wonderful Indian restaurant as well.

Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. It was spotlessly clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The front desk staff spoke English, and they were happy to give directions to buses and trains or call cabs. The disappointment was that they did not include breakfast or wireless internet access in the room. Breakfast would have been an additional 11 Euros per person per day, and wireless was available in 30 minute increments.

The bus stop was right around the corner, but it took a while to get to the city center. The first night, we stayed in the city center late so buses back to the hotel were not as easy to find. We parked our car on the street and felt safe leaving it there, rather than in the hotel garage, for the two nights we stayed. The beds were comfortable and there were apples at the front desk, even though we did not eat breakfast at the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. It was also easy to leave town from the hotel, since it was close to the higways.

Convinient to Munich
Very German/European style rooms. Tiny toilet area, exposed shower. Uncomfortable when you are traveling with your mother! Small room but clean. Expensive breakfast and wifi. Expensive parking but we found a spot on the street. Easy bus, subway access for Munich and surrounding areas. Fine stay but would probably look for something better next time.
