View overlooking sea was fantastic. The rooms though not big enough, but seems done up recently is good-excellent. The room service was ok. N it all ends there.
The worst was its restaurant n its service: During lunch time I requested a plain (butterless) naan. Told at least 5 attendants n finally F&B Manager. Finally got a naan without butter after 25 mins of waiting. The food's very ordinary. The choice of menu for buffet should've been swapped between lunch n dinner (bad planning).
The worst exp. was during dinner at 10PM, There's rush so waited for 15 min, by when there were lot of tables free but uncleaned. We were told to wait near a table, and it took them 15 min (after pleading with 3-4 of them) to clear 1 table. Finally, we get our food on table, but no cutlery to be found and no one around to help. We searched ourselves through their drawers and found only spoons n no fork. We called for their F&B manager who had vanished during such peak hours. A sales guy came over fm reception to help. I challenged him to find one piece of fork in next 1 min in exchange of a treat. He and his team came back 5 min later apologizing. And after 10 min came the cutlery we wanted. We arrived at the restaurant at 10 PM and finally started eating at 10:45.
Also they're doing some renovation, so the entire afternoon couldn't get the wanted nap with all drilling sound. N misery cont. till morning with doorbell ringing at 6AM, accidentally by housekeeper while cleaniing outside wall.
