We chose B&B Elena for it's proximity to the ruins and the station. We were not disappointed. Good size room and fab value for money. We used as a base for exploring the area. And it is perfect for doing this,we didn't want the hassle of moving around.. Trains are easy to use and nearby taking you to Sorrento,Naples and Herculaneum. Our hosts gave us lots of tips and information. Much appreciated.

Ilene and Dario opened up their family home, creating a warm and welcoming place to stay. Just steps from the Archeological Park I would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again some day. Thank you for making my trip to Pompeii a memorable one ❤️

We stayed 8 nights and we had a wonderful stay. The owners were very helpful setting up transfers to and from the airport. Also set excursions to the Almalfi Coast that picked us up right at the B&B. Also setup the guided tour to the ruins. They moved are family to larger ruin for our family of 3 when it opened up which was very nice. The breakfast was very nice with fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, juices and coffee. It is right at the ruins. A short walk to many restaurants, grocery store and to the train stations. I highly recommend.

A nice quiet place to stay, decent sized, clean rooms. The host organised a late check in for me and transportation from the airport, which was greatly appreciated. He also supplied a small map of the area.This B&B is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the pompeii ruins. There are local restaurants and shops within walking distance. The train station is about 10 - 15 minutes away if you don't mind walking.

Highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast and fresh pastries were excellent. Great location if you wanted to visit Naples and Sorrento since it is midpoint between the two cities.. The walk to the Pompeii Site is about 15 minutes.

The owners were wonderful and helpful. They booked trips and taxis for uswhich was very helpful. The property itself has metal gates abd doors and some guests were noisy wuth the netal doors but otgerwuse a very pleasant stay.

It is a family run B&B. The host was very nice and made the stay more pleasurable. The terrace was nice. The room was smaller than we are accustomed to and there is a shared refrigerator in the hall. It was very convenient to the ruins and transportation.

Excellent little B&B
This is a brilliantly located little B&B. Little the operative word. It is compact but clean and easy walking distance to both Pompeii and a bustling town with good restaurants. Irene and her husband are very knowledgeable and sent us to a great restaurant close by.

The property is pretty much as advertised. It is inexpensive and conveniently located close to the ruins, but you truly get what you pay for with this property.

Everything was fine but for one thing. The veranda was located right next to my bedroom. A party started there and finished by 8 pm. That's was fine. But then another noisy older group started from 9 pm to 12 midnight. They leftaybe because I was banging on the wall. Sleeping in my room was like sleeping on the middle of the party. One can hear everyone .even from ropmsnext door. So if you like to party :this is the place to go. Otherwise all else was fine and very close to the ruins.

I had an incredible stay here. The included breakfast is delicious and the B&B is walking distance to the Pompeii Ruins and close to a bunch of good shops and restaurants as well as the church and multiple train stations. The room was clean and really nice, I had a balcony that had a beautiful view of the mountains and the sunrise. I absolutely recommend this place and will be back if I find myself in Pompeii again!

The owner is very nice and knowledgeable about the area. He gave good suggestions on restaurants and gave us a map of the area. The room is in an older house, but it was comfortable.

It was ok I felt it was a little too far away from town I was there so low so coming home at night along was very uncomfortable for me it's dark back to the the hotel I also would prefer to make my own coffee I was there at 8 a.m. my had to wait for him to make coffee which I thought was dumb people want to make their own coffee and drink as much as they want I was very uncomfortable I took food back to my room had coffee and breakfast in my room I was not comfortable

Very convenient to Pompeii, very helpful host. Clean room and nice terrace. Close to town's main piazza with wonderful cafe's, gelato and people watching on a Sunday night.

Dario is a nice guy - who is both very welcoming & helpful. We were originally put in Room 3 which, as noted in other reviews, is directly above the outdoor kennel for the neighbour's noisy dog! After one night, we asked Dario to move us - which he was happy to do. Room 5 was much better… including having a decent shower (unlike Room 3) and a more comfortable bed. Both rooms were very compact, with the toilet/bathroom being situated directly behind a folding door… and both had a terrace. NB: there's very little space to hang clothes in these small rooms. Due to prevailing Covid rules, a buffet breakfast could not be offered by B&B Elena - so we had our inclusive breakfast across the road in a very nice café (which consisted solely of a croissant/cake and a hot drink). We enjoyed our stay, because we were out all day and only went back to sleep… and my advice is to check, in advance, which room has been allocated to you.

Great value, Convenient location, immaculate.
This lovely B&B was immaculate and the host was very friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper was also very warm and friendly and she does an amazing job keeping the place spotless. The location is outstanding and an easy walk to the main amphitheater gate and just slightly further to the marine gate of the ruins. Breakfast was provided at a great bar/cafe just around the corner due to COVID. The room and furniture are a bit dated and the mattress was a bit too hard for our taste but the price was very reasonable and we felt that overall this was a good value for us and we would stay at B&B Elena again.

Bed was lumpy. Freezing, couldn’t get heating to work. Terrace was dirty. Breakfast pathetic. And we only had 1 night thankfully as we had to leave due to Italy going on lockdown due to Coronavirus! Very very disappointing all round.

An excellent stay. Very convenient location to explore Pompei, Vesusius, Amalfi coast and Napoli. Personnel very friendly and helpful in multiple languages. Place maintained very well and parking space available for your car if needed.

Well located and convenient
We arrived to stay for one night to visit the Pompeii ruins. We were welcomed warmly by Dario who gave us valuable information about how to go about doing what we wanted to do while in Pompeii. The hotel provided everything we needed for our short stay including a nice breakfast and good coffee.
