"Check in was easy. Room was good size and clean. Bathroom was clean. King bed was comfy. Location is just down from the police station, which gave a presence of security. Pool was not working, and from what I can read in previous reviews and what we heard from other guests at breakfast, it’s been out of order for some time. That needs to be communicated. Breakfast: Coffee was hot. Cereal was fresh. Hot items (sausage links, eggs, potatoes) were okay. On a separate note: A couple miles from the hotel is El Charro Texano. It is absolutely delicious food and great service."
