"This is a nice hotel that has pretty clean rooms. Fairly priced and the staff was pleasant. It was nice to hear two of the people cleaning rooms quietly laughing with each other and they were very friendly and welcoming. The woman at the front desk when we checked out was also very nice. Two negative things that stood out. For someone that has allergies to many fake fragrances, this place is going to have a negative impact on how you feel. The rooms themselves were not awful but they use fragranced sprays and likely perfumed laundry detergent and when I woke up in the morning I could barely open my eyes and felt terrible until I was outside for an hour or so. The lobby is saturated with fragrant smells and I immediately felt it while in that area. Also the carpet going up the stairs and on the landing to the second floor is very stained and dirty and gives a terrible first impression. That said overall it is a nice property in a convenient location and overall the rooms were clean and in good condition."
